"Don’t waste your money there. Very noisy street right in front. Only thing to eat nearby was domino’s pizza or hot wings. Homeless people walking around asking for help. One staff member was a lady by the name of Anita was very nice, but an old white lady was very rude and disrespectful to me the whole week I was there. Very old motel so do expect nothing very nice. Btw … my prior review is showing 5 stars and that’s not true, someone change it from the 1 star I gave."

"The man at the front desk when we checked in may 21, 2026 around 4:30ish pm was the best. He went out of his way to explain parking to me. His explanation should be included in the voyager inn website because it is a complete picture of your options. The website just says public parking - let me tell you the parking availability is dicey. You must pay the meter when you street park. Check the rules or u will be ticketed. The lot across the street that is for parking services has time limits...

"Really nice staff and comfortable beds! Had clean and nice showers and bathroom! Even though they were shared they still felt private and were always available when we needed them. Super affordable and would definitely recommend staying here! It was the perfect location after our long flight into Anchorage."

"Clean, comfy room with nice new furniture and a very well appointed bathroom, but super unhelpful desk staff, besides 1 young lady, everyone else, specially at night time, was super unhelpful and wouldn't even try to hide how unbothered and unwilling to help they were.
Also, it has been recently renovated so some things ain't working 100%."

"I was exceptionally disappointed having paid $299USD for a room that looked like it was part of a horror film set. From blood splatter on the wall in the bathroom, two of three broken bathroom lights, black mold in the shower, busted blinds, squeaky beds and a horrid smell throughout. "The property appeared to be a short-term apartment rental. It was bit worn, and cooking smell in the hall. Not what I've experienced at other VRBO or Air B &B. "Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Basically the worst hotel i have ever seen. None of the pictures matched from what was shown on Expedia’s website. It was dirty, dusty, and borderline uninhabitable.
I had to scramble last minute to book a different hotel which was very hard to find with it being last minute. Please don’t look at the pictures to decide on staying here. It is really really TERRIBLE!! Hopefully, i will get refund since I didn’t stay there."

"This is a small property located close to downtown restaurants, shops and the museum. The self-checkin system works easily and since we were a bit early and without a car the reception staff gladly stored our luggage for us. The coffee and snack bar is convenient and has what you need in the AM or late afternoon. We found each of the young women working reception to be very nice and helpful. Our room was small, as expected, but perfect for the two of us for a few days."
