"nice local hotel of 16 rooms. two block walk to the famous Sunday market at San Elmo. Very nice breakfast. Very, very reasonably priced. Fifteen minute walk to Porto Maduro. Short taxi ride to Newberry airport and CoLonia Express ferry to Uruguay. Great staff and very accomodating. "

I got the best steak in my life there. Unlike Palermo, which is a bit too touristy, San Telmo is awesome with an incredible mix of European cultures food and restaurants."

"I was attending the IPSA World Congress held at the Catholic University of Argentina. Hotel Chipre is about a 15 minute walk from campus as well as other points of interest such as the Plaza de Mayo, the Cathedral, and Casa Rosada. It is also right by plenty of markets for food and toiletries. The famous, historical Bar El Federal is down the block of the hotel for a nice night out. Other bars, restaurants, and cafe's are close as well. Mercado San Telmo is also a nice place to go shopping....
