A beautiful property just a 7 minute walk to the central street in San Pedro. Spacious rooms, parking facility, helpful staff, a good restaurant on the premises. 24 hour, free tea, coffee. Filtered water to fill your water bottles. Highly recommend.

Hotel maravilhoso, com conforto e localização perfeita; bem próximo a rua principal . Limpo, organizado e os funcionários são extremamente amáveis, educados e solícitos. Precisamos sair antes do horário do café da manhã em várias ocasiões por conta dos passeios e eles prepararam com muito capricho lanche pra levarmos. Super indico !

Excelente hotel!
Hotel confortável e limpo, com staff gentil e atencioso. Banheiro grande e limpo e camas confortáveis. Não tem ar condicionado nem televisão, mas aparentemente este é o perfil da maioria dos hotéis da região em função da sustentabilidade e dificuldades em relação à energia elétrica no deserto. Isso não prejudicou em nada a experiência, ficando apenas como alerta para viajantes. Havia um ventilador que foi suficiente apesar do calor intenso durante o dia. Também tinha calefação para o inverno, que não usamos pois não houve necessidade. Café da manhã gostoso e suficiente. Como ficamos 6 dias, tivemos serviço de lavanderia gratuito, o que foi muito útil por conta da poeira dos passeios. Com certeza recomendo!

This hotel was really lovely, what made it even more amazing was the staff. They truly went above and beyond for me which I so appreciated. The breakfast was great and they always had coffee and tea during the day as well as a water refill station outside.

This is a very nice hotel a short walk from the main restaurant and shopping streets. Rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with everything, I needed. Stayed here with my family, but would highly recommend for anyone visiting San Pedro.

Acima da média de San Pedro
Hotel muito bom, limpo e agradável. Quartos grandes, com varanda e banheiro lindo. A única coisa pra ficar atento é que são dois hotéis diferentes, quando reserva por aqui. Tem o La casa de don Tomás e o La casa de Don Tomás, Refúgio. Não nos foi avisado isso é na chegada nos deixaram no primeiro, que é mais conhecido. Tivemos que andar uns 300 metros arrastando mala na terra pra chegar no Refúgio.

Breakfast was amazing. The quality and choice of both hot and cold dishes are excellent. Location is 8 mins walk to center of town and very convenient. However, the room has no ac and opening the windows would let in the noise from center of town (during weekends, there could be parties and loud music til 4am)

Hotéis em Atacama são muito caros pelo que oferecem! Mas não me arrependi de ter pago um pouco mais que gostaria mais na Casa de Don Tomás. A pousada é maravilhosa! Os quartos são muito confortáveis,! Quando vc chega, os funcionários vestidos a “lá Safari” dão uma sensação especial à sua viagem! O atendimento é impecável! Como um adendo, eu só acho que o blindex do banheiro deveria ser maior ou totalmente fechado, pois espirra um pouco de água qdo tomamos banho. Tb gosto de uma pia com bancada para colocarmos as coisas pessoais, apesar de haver armário sob a pia! Cama enorme e colchao super Confortável!!Quanto à localização, fica a 450 metros da rua Caracoles, então se anda um pouquinho! Mas valeu muito a pena! Adorei!

We had an incredible 3-night stay at this hotel. It is close to the main streets of SPA and within walking distance of all the restaurants nearby. The front desk was very helpful. Our initial room was too noisy (right by the entrance), and the front desk had no issues moving us to a quieter corner. The breakfast was amazing. You get to try various pastries and hot items that that hotel restaurant has to offer. We also enjoyed the fresh fruit and smoothies offered during breakfast. You can find complimentary water, coca tea, and coffee 24/7 at the lobby. Bring a water bottle to save the planet. We also had dinner at the hotel on our first night. The lamb chop was to die for! There is a pool, but we never got to use it. We were here during the winter season (early June), so by the time we were back from any day trips, the pool was too cold for us to swim in. Highly recommended!!

Peaceful hotel with kind staff.
The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely, and eager to help or give recommendations. I had to keep asking for blankets as, despite the heater in the room, the nights in winter in San Pedro de Atacama are freezing! I loved the fact they had a refillable water station, to avoid people buying plastic bottles - well done! And the free tea and coffee station all day in the common area was also a nice touch. It was less than 10 minutes walk into the Main Street (just take a torch if you’re walking back after sunset) and I felt perfectly safe walking it alone. The hotel recommended a few tour companies, so I could book some trips and also thoughtfully provide breakfast bags so that you don’t miss out if your tour leaves before 7am.

Great experience from top to bottom. The water filtration system the hotel has implemented is wonderful. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are spacious, modern & clean. The staff is helpful and communication is not a problem. Would surely stay here again!

They provide breakfast bags for early leaving. Their hospitality was so nice. Coffee and tasty fruits juice was available for 24 hours. Welcome Champaign was in the room. Benches in wide gardens were comfortable.

Overpriced clean hotel that has no basics
Overpriced clean hotel that’s lacking in main hotel services. For a 200.$ us room I would expect a tv and a light switch near the bed ! Breakfast is basic and although tje reception looks modern it has the counter that sells drinks in the Miele of tje checking area . This is called the bar . It’s hardly a hotel bar . No place to relax in reception lounge and breakfast is served in one room then the coffee is served in another and a third room for fruit fir brecfast . Do you have to visit 3 rooms to get you breakfast!! . Also. Tje hitel want payment in us $ if you want t to pay in local currency tje room rate is more about 20% more . This is not explained in hotels .com . Best avoid the overpriced hotel .

Downtown San Pedro is quite busy day to night. The hotel provides you a quite place for a rest and you can enjoy their not over crowed restaurant. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Amazing place.

El personal es super atento y servicial, realmente se esfuerzan en que todo salga muy bien. Las instalaciones son amplias y bonitas. Está a unas 3 o 4 cuadras del centro y es muy accesible a pie. Camas cómodas, baño amplio, quizá haría falta un clóset más amplio. Buen servicio.

Beautiful property within 5-10 min walk from town. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Extremely friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Would have been helpful if they provided airport transportation considering how much we paid for the property, but nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others.

Dear, it is true that our small community San Pedro de Atacama is located in an arid region very similar to a desert forming a small oasis. For this reason our community became aware of protecting natural resources and conserving and protecting the wonders of this land and making them known to our beloved guests: Valley of the Moon, the Tatio Geysers, altiplanic lagoons ... and wonderful astronomical tour...In the same line of protection to our ecosystem, our hotel does not depend on any communal service since it has a sophisticated system of self-sufficiency: We use water from our own wells that is purified through an environmentally friendly process: Water of human consumption passes through a double process of Osmosis and the treatment of gray water (showers, bidet...) In a recycling and purification process to be reused in the irrigation of our plants: not a drop of water is lost. The electrical energy of our hotel is supplied by two generator engines that run alternately 24 hours a day, supplemented by a field of solar panels. Although our region is approaching a desert, temperatures in summer are between 25 to 30 degrees with a maximum of 35 degrees only at nap time (14hs to 17hs) that with fans are bearable since air conditioners are excessively consumers of electrical energy.With the aim that our guests enjoy a familiar and country environment, we do not even have televisions and LED screens, although our Wi-Fi / Internet network is excellent throughout the complex.

Excellent stay. Service is superb. Restaurant ia very good. An 8 mins walk from the town; away from all the noise and traffic. Very happy with oir atay. Highly recommend it!

Excelente, mas o hotel não aceita cartão de débito
A estadia foi excelente, entretanto, tomei um susto na hora de pagar, visto que o hotel não aceitava débito. Percebi que outros hóspedes também ficaram surpresos negativamente. Isto é muito ruim para os turistas brasileiros que se organizam para viajar com dólares na conta corrente. Acho que essa informação deveria estar exposta com bastante visibilidade em algum lugar. No mais, tudo correu bem.

Falta cordialidade e compromisso com cliente.
A equipe da recepção não consegue dar um sorriso, além de pedir o pagamento antecipado só aceitam notas que acabaram de sair do banco, se tiver amassada, não serve. Faltou luz alguns dias, o café era bem ruim. Os pontos fortes são a limpeza, o aquecedor do quarto e o chuveiro.

Com certeza um dos melhores curto beneficio de San Pedro. O hotel não oferece um luxo 5 estrelas, mas tem um quarto confortável, atendimento sensacional e um restaurante de alta qualidade com preços acessíveis a ponto de não se acreditar. Com certeza é o hotel que eu indico para quem não quer gastar milhares de reais numa diária.

Hotel muito bem organizado e voltado para o turista e sua dinâmica no deserto. Equipe sempre disposta a ajudar e sempre muito simpática. A localização é muito interessante, pois está suficientemente distante do agito para manter a tranquilidade do local.
