Excellent property with delicious breakfast, coffee & hot chocolate. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Lunch in the hotel restaurant was delicious and it definitely surprised us. The hotel is located very close to the restaurants & shopping in the town.

We didn't realize there were 2 properties under la casa de Don Tomas (check when booking!). We were dropped off at the original location based on the address we gave from Expedia but after speaking with reception at check-in were directed to their El Refugio location, which is the newer expansion and just a 3 minute walk from the original. The rooms were large and peaceful. Breakfast was included and excellent. Would stay here again!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom well equipped. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The two extras we really appreciated were 1) receiving a breakfast box when we left at 5:30 a.m. to go see the geysers and 2) free laundry on stays of more than 5 days. That made our trip much easier.
