"One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We stayed in a Sands Tower Suite with breakfast. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The other restaurants on site are gorgeous, the food was one of our highlights! Staff were so welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We got engaged here, so will deffo be back & I can't wait!!"

Maybe the introduction of bacon....we left before, 7am to catch our flight.so missed out on breakfast, staff don't start until 7.30 am. "This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. "Lovely, spacious room and stunning view over Balluta Bay. Hotel feels quite claustrophobic compared to other similarly priced hotels in the area and food choices quite limited. Some of the staff were excellent, particularly housekeeping and reception, but it was sometimes difficult to get someone's attention on the terrace or in the lounge. It felt more appropriate for business travel rather than our biannual trip to visit Maltese family, but we had a good stay nevertheless."

"The check in process for same day (booked at 3pm at airport when Airbnb canceled same day due to property issues) was delayed until after 8pm.
