Outstanding property that felt like we were staying in a castle – the architecture of the property, plus the curated artwork everywhere is just amazing… with views for miles. The innkeeper Laura was extremely helpful and super nice as well. Breakfast is an additional cost, but well worth it – the Bowl Campesino is delicious! The only challenge was the hot water in the shower… lukewarm during our stay, but not enough to detract from everything else that is wonderful about the property.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It’s more of a bed and breakfast location with 12 unique rooms. They had breakfast available for a fee and it was phenomenal, all organic. The staff were awesome especially the owners Roger and Rosanna. I’m definitely going back.

Of all the beautiful scenery in San Miguel de Allende, I loved Casa Angelitos the most! It's like a fairytale castle on a hill, with beautiful, clever details everywhere you look. It's in a beautiful neighborhood and just a short, lovely walk into town (and even quicker by an inexpensive cab/uber, if that's your thing). The views of the courtyard, surrounding area, and town are amazing. Breakfast is home-cooked, and there are several choices (I got the chilaquiles, which were delicious, but it seemed like most people got omelets and enjoyed them). Apart from the excellent rooms, there are a lot of cozy indoor common spaces -- equally adorable -- which have a surprising draw. I'm a huge introvert, but still found myself hanging out with Roger, the owner (who's very friendly and knowledgeable), and other guests. And the outdoor spaces are possibly even nicer. Laura in reception is sweet and very helpful, too. There's a big jug of drinking water in your room and the shower in my room was amazing -- great water pressure and hot! I cannot say enough good things about Casa Angelitos, down to the tiniest detail, and can't wait to go back! p.s. If you're a lady traveling solo (San Miguel is a very safe and friendly town for this!), consider the Luna room. The views are spectacular, and it feels just like being a princess in a castle tower! Gorgeous!!

Casa Angelitos is a very charming property, located outside of the noise of the city but a walking distance to everything. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you with whatever is needed. We stay at Corazon room with plenty of space, rustic and nice decoration with a view of the city and the garden on a very nice balcony. They also have fridge, microwave and utensils if you decide to cook something. Breakfast was great, freshly made for you. Love it!! Parking was in the outside of the building. Will stay again .

A beautiful home that is almost like a museum with all the artifacts, paintings and tilework. The owner and family were very nice and the room was very clean. The only negative was the long, steep climb from the town center.

Beautiful property with warm and inviting staff. Each room is unique. The property has a gorgeous view of San Miguel and is only a 15 minute walk to the center of town. Big kudos to the owner and staff. Felt so welcome, got great dinner recommendations, and the staff makes such a great breakfast which begins at 9am. There is also a full kitchen with shared use on the property and in some rooms to store snacks and store your coffee if you need it before 9am. Met some great people here who were fellow guests. The owner does a great job at building a sense of community with guests.

You are family at this home away from home

This is a true home away from home. Roger, Rosana, Laura, Enrique, and the amazing kitchen staff make you feel so comfortable and attend to your every need. I've never felt this relaxed and inspired at any other hotel stay. The grounds are gorgeous. The food is exquisite. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and super cozy. It is a short walk to El Centro. Truly, I doubt there is a better place to stay in San Miguel. I stayed 10 nights and we held out retreat here because the facilitators knew they could trust that the participants would be cared for like family. I already look forward to returning. Oo, and get a massage with Ofelia while you are there. She is so intuitive. It was a great way to start my stay. 5 stars aren't enough for this magic oasis.

Wow, what an incredible place! This establishment has a soul of its own that goes beyond its sheer beauty. Everywhere I turned my head, there was an art piece, a picture, or something meaningful with a story behind it. This place serves as an outward expression of the love that flows through its owner, Roger, and his lovely family, including his wife and daughter. The well-trained, kind, and helpful staff also contribute to its welcoming atmosphere. I arrived on a Sunday, and to my surprise, there was a lively event happening that day, with many wonderful people from San Miguel visiting this castle-like hotel. Roger, his wife, and his daughter are truly evolved souls, and hearing the story of how Roger, an American, came to Mexico, met his current wife, and built this castle from the ground up is incredibly inspiring. The hotel itself is spacious, and inside, I felt like I was in the heart of a cozy cave. The stone walls create a quiet and peaceful ambiance. The rooms we stayed in were generously stocked with various heating supplies and blankets, and access to water was convenient. I appreciated the combination of Mexican aesthetics with American standards of comfort and accessibility, all while maintaining the place impeccably tidy. Even though there was construction on the top floor during my stay, it didn't bother me much, and the evenings remained peaceful. The breakfast and coffee were delightful, and I had a wonderful conversation with Roger and other guests visit

I want to start by thanking Laura, who was wonderful and stayed up late to check me in after my flight arrived in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was highly disappointing. The next morning, there was a complete lack of staff in the breakfast area. After waiting for a full hour, I finally had to message Laura via WhatsApp just to find out if anyone was available to provide breakfast. The worst part, however, occurred after I checked out. I was inundated with a barrage of WhatsApp messages insisting that my payment hadn't gone through and my Visa was declining. I explained that my card was working perfectly (I had just used it for an Uber), but the non-stop messages continued for two days and felt like harassment. The issue was only settled when Expedia finally issued a paid receipt, which I forwarded to them. To this day, management has not offered a simple apology or acknowledgement of their administrative errors. A little accountability would have gone a long way. I would not stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Angelitos! The property and all of the rooms are absolutely gorgeous, and we felt like we were staying in a fairytale castle. Fantastic Casa

This is wonderful property with beautiful rooms, views and with a very homy feel. The owners make every guest feel welcome. It is a short .6 mile walk downhill to the center of town, but a very steep climb back up but worth it! The breakfast is delicious as well, with many choices. I would go back!
