We had a lovely 3 day stay at Casa Schuck. It’s walkable distance from the main square, has great views from its terrace and is far enough to be really quiet. The rooms are wonderful and the ambience of the B&B with the central courtyard transports you to another time. And the service is excellent. Diego and Gabriel deserve a special mention- they helped us book activities and dinners. Highly recommend

Casa Schuck is such a wonderful place! It holds a great story and history, the property is beautiful and welcoming, with perfectly decorated /appointed rooms. Beds are comfy, pretty balcony with French doors that open to gardens, and great views. The most outstanding customer service, they go above and beyond! Only one thing to point out there is no elevator which was not a problem for us, however if you have mobility issues it would be difficult to manoeuvre the property.

A Superb Place to Stay in San Miguel

I can't say enough nice things about Casa Schuck. This place was simply wonderful. It's a beautiful bed & breakfast ("urban hacienda") situated 5 minutes from the central square in San Miguel de Allende. It's minutes from all of the major central town locations. We were greeted by the friendliest hosts and given the tour of the 8-10 bedroom B&B. Each room is decorated differently, and there's a central courtyard with a lovely public "living room" space and dining space located next to it. We stayed in El Sol, which had a small pool located just outside of it. The room was very comfortable and clean. We loved it. Breakfast was cooked and served (to order) each morning accompanied by freshly baked bread, fruit, and coffee/tea/orange juice. There was one morning when we had to leave a little before the official breakfast time to go on a tour, and Gabriel was able to ask the morning cook to come in a few minutes early and prepare a hot meal for us. That was just above and beyond and is a reflection of the kind off outstanding hospitality offered at Casa Schuck. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit San Miguel.

Great weekend in a wonderful hotel!

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in San Miguel de Allende and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and clean hotel. From the moment I made the reservation I was contacted by a representative who welcomed me and asked if there was anything I needed to ensure I had a great time during our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. The room was immaculate as far as cleanliness and we were fortunate to have a room with a wonderful view of the town center. I would like to provide additional positive feedback for Alex, Gabriel and Alejandra for their exceptional customer service and for providing information about the area. Again, the entire experience from customer service to room cleanliness to the variety and quality of breakfast options exceeded my expectations. This is the only place I would stay during future visits to San Miguel de Allende. Thank you very much for the great experience and hospitality!!

La casa es hermosa. Solo habría que especificar que es un Bed&Breakfast (no hotel boutique). No hay servicio de restaurante, ni spa. La alberca es pequeña y linda pero con agua fría. Los amenities son de muy buena calidad. Sugiero que no llamen para hacer "retenciones" para asegurar la reservación o que se indique que se hará este proceso porque aquí claramente dice "pague al llegar al establecimiento". El lugar no cuenta con estacionamiento.Es algo común en San Miguel. Vale la pena saberlo cuando eres turista nacional. Casa Schuck ofrece el servicio de valet por un costo más bajo que si lo dejas en cualquier pensión. En general, San Miguel tiene precios altos para el turismo nacional. Esta casa, en relación a los otros hoteles, tiene un precio relativamente justo, sin embargo alto en relación a otros destinos. La atención de Ale es la mejor. El desayuno es delicioso. Muy a gusto que puedas despertar e ir por un café. No me gustó que te cobren en dólares y a un tipo de cambio mucho más alto que el de cualquier casa de cambio o del DOF. Estamos en México.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel to begin with there wasn't any room service they did not have a restaurant you couldn't find anything to eat or drink after 10 AM second of all they don't except payments through Expedia , The room description is inaccurate , The price wasn't the same as Expedia we where Charged more at hotel than Expedia rate , they have no parking for guest we almost got ran over when we unloaded our baggage on the side of the road , it's very unsafe .

We really enjoyed our stay - Alejandra and the entire team could not have been more helpful and friendly! The room was clean and well-furnished (and others we could see looked beautiful too); clean linens; wine in the room; breakfasts were delicious and plentiful; the courtyard and the upper deck were great for relaxing. And the location is very close to town and the restaurants but quiet. We'll stay here again.

This bed and breakfast was beautiful! We loved our room, beautifully adorned -the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet , spacious and lots of natural light. The grounds itself are beautiful with lots of different terraces and seating areas. Some shaded and some in the sun. Excellent places to view the sunset in the early evening. The only negative was the size of the pool. It was more of a wading pool rather than one to swim in. It was nonetheless beautiful and lots of great spaces to sit outside and visit or read. Great location as well. Staff were amazing and very helpful. When our flight was changed, they were already aware of it and called ahead to let our driver know we were going to need a different time for pick up back to the airport. The breakfast in the morning were delicious and rather than a typical buffet that you might expect out of B and B, we were handed a menu. Everything was absolutely delicious!
