"The day of checkout we had a tour, so we had the hotel store our luggage. When we came back we twice asked for our luggage but the man at the desk ignored our request. When the taxi came he had us come into the room to identify our luggage and that he would put it into the taxi. We were in a hurry and did not notice at the time that there was a suitcase missing from where our luggage was stored. He put the luggage into the taxi as we were in the car so we didn’t count the pieces at the time....

"We had read so many wonderful reviews about this hotel and they were not wrong. From the moment you walked in the hotel staff were very helpful and continued to be for the week that we were there. The courtesy bus was great, took us to the station and from there we had our trips to Sorrento, Amalfi and Napoli. The breakfast was very nice, the views were amazing from the rooftop of the hotel with a glass of morning fizz in hand! The restaurant in the evening in the hotel grounds was faultless,...

"Very nice view! Front desk unhelpful & unfriendly, & uncooperative"

"Very good in general"

"We loved our time at Sole Splendid! The room was modern, clean and spacious. The balcony overlooking the sea was huge and the views were spectacular! The staff were friendly and very attentive. The breakfast offered many options. We highly recommend staying here!"

"The staff here are so kind and helpful. They offer a valet for check in and check out to help carry your bags up the steps to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and has a great variety of options. There’s lots of great restaurants and the hotel is located only a short walk away from Amalfi so you get to enjoy both sides of the coast without the busyness and chaos of Amalfi :) My husband and I loved our stay and would love to stay here again. We will miss this amazing hotel!"

"The best"

"Beautiful room and very lovely staff"

"Fantastic location and beautiful view from our clean and spacious room! Delicious breakfast! Superb staff and service! 10/10! Highly recommend!!"

"Perfectly located outside of Positano in a quietly nestled town that gives you the absolute best views. this is due to the family business taking great pride. They were very responsive via Expedia message and WhatsApp and were able to help me book tours (Capri tour was very fun and well worth it), book taxis etc. the hotel is walking steps where you can catch a bus back and forth to Positano. Much less than a taxi and totally fine. The food in the hotel was great including the free breakfast(...

"This place was one of the best hotels. The staff makes you feel like home. They are super lovely and caring for all your needs. The place has amazing views. The pool is great. I spent 3 days here and I didn’t want to leave. I will definitely recommend it, and I will be back soon!"
