"I booked this hotel specifically because the website advertised it as pet friendly — that was the deciding factor. What I didn’t see anywhere in the listing was any mention of a $100 pet fee for a single night. That’s a significant charge that deserves to be upfront, not buried or absent entirely. I travel with my emotional support animal, and in my experience, most accommodations either waive the pet fee for ESAs or at least have a clear, transparent policy. When I checked in and was told about the charge, I was caught completely off guard. When I explained that my animal is a registered ESA, the front desk staff were polite but firm — no exceptions. The room itself was fine, and the property is clean. But the lack of transparency around fees and the blanket policy that ignores the distinction between pets and emotional support animals left a bad taste. If you’re going to market yourself as pet friendly, at minimum be upfront about the costs. A $100 fee for one night is steep, and finding out at check-in is a frustrating way to start a stay. Travelers with ESAs, take note — call ahead and confirm the fee policy before booking, because “pet friendly” here doesn’t mean what you might expect."

"Staff was nice. Property lobby is very clean and pleasant which is basically a facade for how grimy their rooms are. Room smelled musty and bathroom tub was leaking the entire time. Bathroom doors and walls had stains on them and shower curtains had mold. As soon you are get on the elevator you see how janky the hotel really is. Luckily I stayed for (1) night. It’s one of those hotels you keep your shoes on because the carpet grosses you out and you don’t use the duvet because clearly the rooms are poorly cleaned and sanitized. "

"The downstairs rooms were quite dark. It was confusing as to when they would clean the room we checked in Friday they said day, three which seemed to be Sunday to us, but it wasn’t so we did not have clean towels or bathmat. The breakfast was very decent lots of choices for a small breakfast fruit yogurt, toast, waffles, coffee, and juice. We had a group of people and I wish there had been a room that we could’ve all gathered in to play games and visit the woman in the breakfast room, and the woman at the front desk were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable"

"It was beautiful! Comfortable, cozy and Romantic. Continental breakfast was delish and prepared so cute. Was there to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and she Loved it ! Beautiful views as well with a short walk to Capitola shopping center. "
