"The proprietors were friendly, responsive and professional. The property was stylish but also in need of some improvement, as our first room had slow-draining sinks in the suite. The second room was better, both units need fans in the bathroom & new doors. The breakfast needs a little upgrade beyond the current menu, maybe switch the primary proteins (eggs & sausage were adequate at best). The property was convenient for downtown access and generally quiet, though some rooms a close to street noise. Overall, the Sands is budget-friendly and offers clean, reliable lodging + responsive staff."

"We stay here all the time so no complaints here. Room is clean, hot water works, thrs a nice pool for when it’s too hot. Only thing missing is a hot tub which would be really nice to add"
