Arrived and the first thing we appreciated was the beautiful ocean view and access right from the property. To us that surpassed any minor inconveniences around no staff onsite, or some rustic areas not perfectly maintained on the outside of the property. The terrace on top was rarely used but we took advantage of it regularly. Beautiful place to relax and watch the waves while enjoying a glass of wine. Kitchen was fully equipped. Would have been nice to have a few more seasonings other than salt and pepper but overall provided what we needed for some easy breakfasts and lunches. Refrigerator was separated to ensure each room had its own section which was a great idea to keep your own food. Also was great to be able to throw a salad together for a lighter meal when restaurant food was getting heavy ! There are a few restaurants walking distance but uber was a great way to get around wherever you wanted to go. Price was excellent for San Juan and we would definitely use Outsite again if we returned.

I traveled alone and wanted a safe place with a beach nearby, the guesthouse is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood. The beach is steps away and parking was not an issue for me. I was surprised that there was no tv in the room but I was able to connect my laptop and watch stuff on there if needed. The guesthouse is dated but clean. The kitchen has everything you need to make your meals as well as the cleaning supplies for your cleaning up needs. The fridge had compartments for your items that can be labeled with the provided labels! There is only one room that faces the ocean so you would need to reserve it in advance. It’s the room that I will be requesting for my next visit because it’s also attached to the outdoor shared patio/ workspace. There are no shops close by but walking the area will lead you to shops or a short drive can get you there faster. Again, it’s a laidback guesthouse vibe with limited amenities but it’s only for sleeping and for that it’s perfect spot to call it a night💋🇵🇷 thank you magaley for everything we laughed so hard that day! I can’t wait to come back’ I recommend this spot if you are ok fending for yourself and just need a sweet affordable place to sleep 😴

Clean room and bathroom, and a fully equipped community-style kitchen. The only downside was that parking is limited to street parking, so availability can vary. The room includes all the basic essentials and is perfect for travelers who plan to be out exploring most of the time. My partner and I mainly used the room just to sleep, it has one room, one bathroom, a closet, and no TV. Overall, it was a very peaceful experience. Bonus points for the balcony view and beach front!

Food was a good walk away but doable. Property was interesting as was a combo of long and short term stays. Common areas were well respected and organized.Never met a property manager but there was an email for communications if necessary. Clean, auster atmosphere. No shops "near by" but that's okay. Beach about half a mile to true, white sands with swiming. Seawall across the street.Nice sound of the waves all the time.Quaint, residential neighborhood. Lift and Uber charge $5 extra for "beach" location. Nice place.

Thie place waa dirty and unkept. We literally in and walked back out and booked another stay somewhere else. They refused to refund although we never stayed there. Do not book here! Its disgusting

If you are booking through Bookings.com or another rental app, you may not fully realize what Outsite is - a guest house designed for co-working/living, and not some sort of B&b, etc. this means there is no housekeeping, no pool, no gym, no staffer on site to ask for extra towels or directions, stow your bags if you arrive early or late (you can keep them in the common area, which is perfectly safe, but not everyone will feel cool with that option). It’s not a place to rest in your luxurious room overlooking the ocean, though there is one room where you could do that. The rest are fairly small and have no windows/views. It was ok, just not ideal at all. The only thing that was actually hard for me is there is no coffee in the room, and the coffee maker in the common area is an old Mr Coffee. Any coffee place is at least a 15 walk in morning. (I gotta have it before I deal with people, but if that’s not you, you’re fine!) It’s not a bad place for what it is, but if you’re not a digital nomad looking for impromptu housemates to pal around with in the evening, you’re not going to have an amazing time at Outsite. Further, the one digital nomad type I did meet here said this was not his favorite Outsite location because there were more tourists on vacation, which also kind of kills the vibe for him. Outsite: market exclusively to your target guest, otherwise you disappoint everyone. On the positive side Ocean Park Beach is a 5 min walk and the deck upstairs has a lovely view.

Great spot for anyone who wants to be right by the beach — the property is literally steps from the sand, with amazing ocean breezes and views all day. The rooms are small and simple with no TV, but the space feels calm, relaxing, and safe. There’s also a convenient community kitchen where you can cook or store groceries, which is perfect for short or extended stays. One important note: staff is not onsite, so be sure to check your email (including spam) and your text messages for the access instructions before you arrive. Highly recommend for a peaceful, beach‑side stay in San Juan.

Loved the room, very cute quiet stay, tucked in right next to the gated community although it’s right on park blvd, it’s a very quiet stay. The ocean is all you hear =). We loved the room. If I could make one suggestion, is a bit more sturdy table or two for those with back issues when getting clothes from our bags and for putting our things on. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!
