Mont Carpe Diem is an excellent property to stay at! Not only is it located in the beautiful rainforest of Puerto Rico, but it’s also the Owners of the establishment that truly make it a memorable stay! I would highly recommend it and plan to return. An amazing location beautifully hosted with great food as well. Be prepared to be pampered in, “rainforest luxury.”

Mont Carpe Diem provided the exact retreat my wife and I were seeking. The property is a true sanctuary, offering breathtaking views, exceptional cuisine, and a serene landscape enriched by peacocks, chickens, and groves of avocado, banana, and papaya. The presence of their three beautiful dogs and the stunning pool further enhance the restorative atmosphere. A particular highlight was the art class, which my wife thoroughly enjoyed; I highly recommend this experience to any guest looking to add an enriching, creative dimension to their stay. the hallmark of this estate is the hospitality. If you’re looking for a quiet, exclusive escape that feels like your own private slice of paradise, this is the place. Tucked away in the lush Puerto Rican rainforest, this family-owned gem offers a peaceful retreat far from the crowds—just the sounds of nature, stunning scenery, and truly warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed like family. The owners go above and beyond in every detail, from thoughtful local recommendations to genuine, heartfelt care that made our stay so memorable. Our accommodations were beautifully designed, stylish, clean, and comfortable with breathtaking views from our cabin and dining area balcony (everywhere on the property, really). Waking up to the rainforest canopy and enjoying coffee surrounded by the sounds of nature was pure magic. What we appreciated most was the tranquility. Whether relaxing by the pool, or simply unwinding in the evening breeze, it was the perfect blend of adventure and serenity. It’s close enough for a day trip to Old San Juan, beautiful beaches or nearby towns, but we found it hard to leave this peaceful haven each day. To be honest, the food and hospitality will keep you from venturing off. Simply amazing! This place embodies everything that makes Puerto Rico special—beauty, culture, warmth, and heart. There truly are no words that would capture the magic of this place. It is up in the mountains of Bayamon. Upon entering, you are greeted by your host—Pedro and Yohandra. They have situated three cabins on their 20+ acre property. The cabins are exceptionally arranged to include a deck overseeing the lush green rainforest mountains, beautiful art work and (I can only speak for the cabin I stayed in), a shower that opens up to the landscape of the rainforest. In the evening you will be entertained by an orchestra of Coqui’s, birds, peacocks and a variety of other insects and creatures that I could not possibly name. Here’s the kicker. If what I have already shared doesn’t have you running to make a reservation, the on-site chef will definitely get you there. Ema is a phenomenal chef. Blending ingredients to create masterfully delicious meals. If they gave Michelin stars in PR, he would have already received several. Add to that, Mama (the owner’s mom). I had the special treat of experiencing a homemade Cuban dessert made by her. Once I tasted her papaya dessert, it’s the one I ordered every day as my evening treat. And what a treat it was. This place is an oasis of tranquility, restoration and peace. Once my husband and I arrived on the property, we did not leave until it was time to go home. Mont Carpe Diem is just what my mind, body and soul needed. I cried as I said my goodbyes to a family that poured love into a soul that was depleted.

Everything about this place is exceptional. There's a unique, uplifting energy here that even seems to influence your dreams. My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Mont Carpe Diem Hotel in Bayamon Puerto Rico and we just found heaven on earth.  We were looking for a getaway to just relax and disconnect and this place far outreach our expectations.  We have travelled and this place is by far the best.   Accommodations were modern and clean and the cabin view was magical.   You open the accordion door to the deck and you'll never want to leave this place.  Of course the views on the main house terrace were breathtaking and the city lights at night were nothing short of spectacular.  The Hosts, husband and wife team Pedro and Yohandra were so welcoming and made us feel right at home.  We spent long hours conversing with them. Pedro took us for a drive on the whole property and informed us of its history.  Yohandra even managed to find my girlfriend's favorite fruit for her.  They were also very attentive to all our needs, This is a place where we will definitely return.
