Noisy

Friendly, small hotel with nice pool area. Unfortunately if you get placed in room 101 you will be on the ground floor, 1m away from the reception desk, and subject to all noise throughout the night as people come in and out of the entrance. There is absolutely no noise protection in this specific room, and could hear 100% noise and whoke conversations. Awake all night. Asked for a room change but was "fully booked". Room was clean. Bathroom was sufficient. Location was average.

Stayed for 3 nights. AC doesn't work and the temp was 35C. complained, but never got it fixed. location is not great. pay little more and stay in another place.

Nice hotel & staff but no entertainment

Hotel staff were very helpful. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was continental and never changed each day but was enough variety. There was a pool area for those that need it. Air con was fantastic in 33C heat at the time Downside, the location was not ideal although we did find shops and takeaways 10 mins walk away. TV sound was very tinny with mainly Maltese channels to watch. This may not seem a big thing but with no hotel entertainment or anything to do locally, this meant once we got back to hotel we had nothing to do. Balcony door was hard to lock, so we were concerned that our room could be broken into. Also, staff wanted us to leave keys with them when we left hotel, and on 1 occasional we were given wrong key when we came back. We could have stole stuff from their hotel room, but also others could do that to us. That needs revising.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel una settimana. La stanza che ci hanno dato era vicina alla reception (un metro dalla porta di entrata della stanza) quindi sentivamo rumori tutta la notte (si sentiva veramente tutto dall'esterno). Bagno con tenda (diversamente da quanto presentato nelle foto) quindi ogni volta che facevamo la doccia si allagava metà bagno. Inoltre in bagno c'era costantemente odore di chiuso e muffa. Il frigo e il cucinino non sono inclusi (10€ a settimana per il frigo più altrettanti per il cucinino). Colazione molto povera e di scarsa qualità, prodotti comprati al supermercato e riproposti ogni giorno. L'area piscina è carina e rilassante, purtroppo però chiude alle 19:00. La zona non è male, é fuori dal frastuono del centro ma allo stesso tempo è raggiungibile velocemente affittando uno scooter o con Uber.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’hôtel Kappara. Le personnel est très agréable, très sympathique et arrangeant. La chambre était conforme aux photos. Il y a une cuisine dans la chambre en supplément. Seul petit défaut la chambre est mal isolée on entend souvent le bruit dans l’hôtel. La piscine est superbe ! La localité de l’hôtel était parfaite : nombreux bus à proximité et idéalement située pour visiter Malte dans sa globalité. Nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel très bon rapport qualité prix!

Bruyant et sale : le pire hôtel de ma vie

Le pire hôtel de ma vie ! Une catastrophe à 62€ la nuit, c'est lamentable. L'ensemble du bâtiment est vétuste, sale et bruyant. Aucune insonorisation, on entend le chuchotement des voisins de chambre, les femmes de ménage, et la mise en place du petit déjeuner (chambre au premier étage). Malgré la fenêtre fermée, des coqs situés à une vingtaine de mètres sur un terrain vague vous réveillent à partir de 5h30 du matin comme ci vous étiez avec eux dans le poulailler. Des travaux à la disqueuse et au marteau ont commencé dans le hall à 07h00 sans se soucier des résidents qui dormaient. Le petit déjeuner est ultra basique et il y a très peu de choix, il s'agit de produits premiers prix de chez lidl. La chambre est équipée de deux lits simples qui sont vraiment inconfortables. Les poussières ne sont pas faites. La salle de bain est entièrement à refaire. Présence de fourmis dans la chambre, jusque dans les draps. La piscine est sale avec des touffes de cheveux au fond et des mouchoirs aux abords ainsi que des emballages des aliments du petit déjeuner qui flottent à la surface 2 heures après la fin du petit déjeuner. A noter que vous devez laisser les clefs de votre chambre à chaque sortie de l'hôtel.

Value for money, small hotel, helpful staff.

This is a small hotel with helpful friendly staff which I liked. We had a broken shower door and were immediately moved to another room with no problems. There is a small swimming pool. Breakfast is continental. The town is a short walk away uphill to a large supermarket and other local shops selling essentials. Few restaurants to eat at. The description of what is available at the hotel is misleading. It’s says snackbar/deli/restaurant. This is not available. The photos also show the room has a mini kitchen/fridge. We were expecting this as per the photos. However when we arrived we found there was a pull down locked door over it. We had to pay a supplement to use it. As we wanted to cook in a few times we had to pay the supplement. We were however very grateful for the air conditioning which was included. Also a safe. The description needs to be updated by hotels.com to explain this. it is no reflection of the hotel at all. The description also says near a beach. This infers you can walk to it. The nearest beach is a 15 minute taxi ride to st Juliens. It is also about 20 minute taxi ride to valetta. Other places of interest are further away. You need to use a taxi or buses.
