Front desk staff was kind. Room was alright for price/location. Room was a bit dusty and did not smell good. Sheets were slightly torn. Housekeeping did not come in a 7-day stretch. Room faced other rooms so no natural light coming through.

The surrounding blocks are rough but the property is fine if you just need a cheap place to stay. Rooms are clean. No complaints other than there's no place to sit except the bed. Like no chairs or even a stool. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. Just do your research if venturing out on foot and stay aware of your surroundings. Probably want to steer clear of the blocks directly east of the hotel day or night. Really nice empanada place one block west (Cafe Buenos Aires). If you are looking more to experience the neighborhood then probably take a star off from this review.

Large extremely clean room and bathroom, bed was very comfortable and there is a large walk in wardrobe. The building itself is old and in need of some renovation but there had been a start on this before we left. Staff was very accomodating and helpful. The only slight negatives were we had to ask for room service, the bath was needing replacing, the room definitely needs a chair at the desk and the website stated there was coffee making facilities in the room but there were none. The area has a lot of homeless but they keep themselves to themselves. There are also quite a few nice eateries especially La Lafayette on Larkin Street for the best breakfast. Overall I would recommend staying here for a clean comfortable reasonably priced visit

This hotel itself is excellent. Was able to do an early check in and had a wonderful room on the 6th floor with a view. Staff were friendly and provided a great experience. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy but I would stay again. 5 Stars ๐Ÿ‘

clean hotel, you get what you paid for. Super convenient to many food places and shops. Alot of homeless but if you mind your business they don't bother you. I will stay at this hotel again.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. The hotel is located toward the end of the Tenderloin district at the beginning of little Saigon. Just to let others know. I had no problems, but it can be a little uncomfortable to see homeless people outside the door of the hotel if you are not used to it. Little Japan and Nob Hill are within walking distance and very nice to visit. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special note goes to the young man working the weekends who handled a difficult situation with the utmost respect and professionalism.

Property recently renovated. Rooms a bit small but nice, no AC however. Area outside is scary however many areas in San Francisco are scary with the homeless problem. Staff nice. Uber in/uber out and you will be fine

They cancelled my resevation for no reason and tried to blame Expedia. The lobby was messy and dirty and nothing like what's seen in the pictures.

Location, location, location. The hotel is near everything, easy to get to major attractions in SFO. Don't expect 5 star amenities because there won't be any but the convenience to be near everything is basically the best asset.

Place was a crack den of homeless people. Rooms smelled like pee and whole hotel looked closed. Pretty sure homeless people were camped out in the lobby. Do not stay here
