"If you're visiting from far away like the United States or on a special trip, I'd recommend staying at the Blue Apple Beach Club instead. You don't want to cheap on the little stuff on a vacation. The room was advertisied as having Wifi, and it did not have Wifi or cell signal. Youll have to walk by the pool area to make calls. Also the bathroom has black mold around the sink, and the shower water temperature doesn't get warm or hot. Those basic comforts make a big difference on a vacation, so I...
"Tiny Village was the *perfect* spot to relax, while just a short boat ride away from the amazing city of Cartagena! The staff were so wonderful … everything was just perfect….from the food, to the lodging in my private casita, to all of the transportation and excursions they helped me arrange. I would recommend TVC to anyone, but especially travelers who enjoy a quiet hideaway just minutes from the fun of a gorgeous city. It was perfect for what I was seeking — and Maloi, Rafa, and Tia made it a...
"The staff was super kind and helpful, they have a transfer service from and to the city by boat between 10am and 5pm. The cabin I chose had AC and the bar has quite a nice menu for food and drinks. Basic amenities but just fine, the guys will help you in whatever way they can and you won't be pestered so much by vendors.
On the other hand, they should think about installing some catch-fly lights cause insects can be really annoying, especially when eating."
"you can't even find a plug into the wall there isn't an elevator and the 4th floor plus stairs are sketchy. there isn't any internet outside the lobby and if you speak english you are watching bbc or hopefully music videos. The staff/food/location though are great but if you need wifi stay away"

"The good- the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is top notch, with amazing views and plenty of comfortable beach loungers. We snorkeled at the beach and there was coral and fish very close by. We had fun during the day at the beach lounging, walking, swimming, and reading.
The bad- upon arrival, they told us we needed to pay “the other half” of what we owed. We had already paid in full on hotels.com, though apparently this was a mistake, that was supposed to only be half the price. In the end they did not make us pay double what we thought we had to pay, but it felt like a negotiation. Also, everything was overpriced. They charged us for potable water. Again, we negotiated with them and they filled our water bottles with potable water for free. However, had we paid the full amount for potable water, we would have spent about $100USD over the 3 nights we stayed there. Most importantly, we stayed in a cabana, and it is definitely not a 5 star hotel. It is glamping. While there is an air conditioner in the room, the walls are all screens and the room is totally open air, so it was very hot the whole time we were there. there were tons of mosquitoes, and I got bit all night despite sleeping under the mosquito net. It was very hard to get sleep considering the heat and the mosquitoes. This hotel would be a fun place to go during the day if you are into partying (loud blasting music all day), but I would not stay there again unless there were changes made.

"First I am going to say 10/10 for a truly unique experience. The village is a real oasis to escape and reset from the everyday grind. It was exactly what I was looking for. The staff that work there are the stars of the show! We felt safe, well cared for even during a night when nature had other plans. The property was beautiful and well maintained but please bring mosquito spray, I would suggest the skin so soft brand worked like a charm for me (iykyk). The food was chef’s kiss, Tia prepared fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, and a traditional Colombian breakfast every morning and it was delicious. Maloi the property manager took care of every need I requested from the time I landed until I returned to the airport. There are multiple beach clubs within walking distance that are beautiful. I was celebrating my birthday and they even organized a party of me so we are family now lol! I will definitely return to Tiny Village. "
