We have had many guests request to be on a higher floor, so they can be away from any noise or passersby on the property. We are located in a small industrial pocket (long before most of the places around us), and we’ll be the first to admit that our location is unusual for a hotel. Although the location is not something we can change, we do like to tell people that “we are an oasis in the middle of nowhere, but only minutes to everywhere!” The great thing about our location is that we are a quick walk to Historic Old Town, and across the street from the Old Town Transit Center so you can get around town with ease if you want to leave your car behind. Our complimentary breakfast is a very convenient way for our guests to get a quick pick me up before heading out to explore San Diego. Should they want something a little more substantial in the morning, there is a fantastic breakfast restaurant just a five-minute walk from us. I have shared your feedback regarding our rooms with my housekeeping team, and as a teachable moment, we will discuss our property standards, and review improvement opportunities in the service we provide. Hello Ariana. I apologize for your experience with us. This is definitely not the typical guest stay, and it caught all of us by surprise. The city informed us that they would be working on a water valve three days before it was supposed to happen. The city's work is what made our fire alarms go crazy. The sudden drop and rise in water pressure from their repairs wreaked havoc on our sensors. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. We are truly sorry that your experience was memorable for all the wrong reasons, and we hope to have the chance to serve you better in the future.

Although the location is not something we can change, we do like to tell people that “we are an oasis in the middle of nowhere, but only minutes to everywhere!” The great thing about our location is that we are a quick walk to Historic Old Town, and across the street from the Old Town Transit Center so you can get around town with ease if you want to leave your car behind. The trolley will quickly and easily get you to downtown’s Gaslamp District, Convention Center, Petco Park, the USS Midway Museum and Seaport Village to name a few. We are less than 3 miles to Sea world, 3 miles to the airport, and less than 10 minutes to Balboa Park and the Zoo. We are also only a 5-minute drive to historic Liberty Station with many local shops, art galleries, and restaurants, including the Liberty Public Market. In addition, we are lucky to be right across the street from the new and free “San Diego Flyer” shuttle bus stop, with direct service to the San Diego International Airport (SAN).
