We loved Hotel Villa Carlton! The space is beautiful and the room was quite large compared to other hotels we stayed at during our trip to Austria. Super close to the river, which makes for a beautiful walk into the old town!

The staff was amazing, the hotel has 3 floors and has an elevator, good breakfast (pastries, juice and coffee). Overall it was a very good experience and the location is beautiful. Parking was very easy to find. Something extra I enjoyed a lot was that they have a very nice set of soaps and lotions that they also sell in the hotel.

A lovely hotel, about 10 mins walk from the train station and another 10 mins walk into the historic centre. Our room was nice and roomy and the staff friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous building in perfect location! Only one block from the water, 3 min walk to Schloss Mirabell and 15 min or so walk from the main station. Salzburg is incredibly walkable and Villa Carlton is perfectly situated, removed from the main touristy area. Smooth check-in, very friendly and welcoming staff, clean and very spacious room with everything you might need. Loved our stay and will stay there again next time we are in Salzburg. Thank you!

Fantastic hotel with extremely comfortable beds and well maintained rooms. Service was excellent. Easily walkable from the train station and very central for walks to old town, bars/restaurants, and around the river.

The staff were all lovely and everything was very clean and new throughout which was great. We were disappointed with the facilities considering that this is marketed as 4 star hotel. This is a B&B with basic continental breakfast. If you are OK with that then I don't think you will be at all disappointed. Don't expect a 4 star hotel though. Reception and front door are locked after 7pm and there were no hot drinks facilities in the rooms and just a very basic TV.

Nice very spacious room. Helpful staff, good location. Breakfast is disappointing but it’s clear what you get when you book, but it might stop me having a repeat stay. The Artwork is quite something, possibly curated by a teenager, but it kinda adds to the eccentricity of the place.

A lovely hotel in a convenient location. Easy walk to the station and along the river to the old town. Our room was well furnished and clean with a large walk in shower and comfortable bed. The staff were lovely, very efficient and friendly and provided helpful suggestions to make the most of our brief stay. A simple breakfast of coffee and croissants was provided. Wow. What a beautiful hotel. I have travelled the world on business and personal holidays. This is one of the most comfortable I have stayed in. The room I was in had a seating area to watch tv and a separate bedroom. Beautifully renovated. Walkable to the old town. Fabulous holiday!
