Wir waren bei heißen 33 Grad da und hatten das Dachzimmer, im Sommer nicht zu empfehlen da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist und die #Wärme sehr lange Nachts braucht bis sie drraußen ist. Aber ansonsten sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht."

Beautiful city and sights. Overrun with tourists, which is nice if you like crowds, but otherwise plan accordingly. Traffic is congested in center area, walking/trams are better. Christmas markets are vast and beautiful, but sophisticated/commercial.

We stayed in early-mid March and many fountains and sculptures covered with winter protection - but no big crowds and the snow-caps on the mountains were delightful scenery. Grocery stores closed Sundays, some attractions closed Mondays.

Salzburg is a wonderful European city with lots of old world charm! Make sure that you make it up to the Fortress and try to book a dinner and concert. Worth it and the view is tremendous. Salzburg is a must see if going to Europe.

Salzburg was one of my favorite places to visit. We hiked up the many steps to the Cathedral and were lucky enough to hear the nuns chanting. Think "The Sound of Music". We also visited the Fortress which was amazing!

The public transportation was cheap and frequent. A very lovely city with a lot of interesting attractions. Very pedestrian and cycle friendly. I would definitely visit again.

Lovely city. Would recommend going out early to visit attractions thus avoiding the coach loads that arrive by lunchtime. Would recommend the sound of music bike tour.

So charming and scenic nestled among the hills. See if you can get yourself a Packerl and a nockerl, both very unique experiences.

"We both absolutely loved this super cool hotel. Lots of little touches in the room made it feel extra special. All the furnishings are super modern and sleek. I liked the way the bed appeared to float and was illuminated at night to highlight that. The lighting, the bathroom, the hotel, it was all such fun and so well planned and thought out! The bathroom even had a speaker for music.
The food in the rooftop bar was excellent - I had an vegan panna cotta for pudding, which was excellent, and the service was prompt and friendly. The wine was good, the beer was good.
The view from the 360° roof bar was stunning, stretching across Salzburg and its suburbs towards the Alps.
Prices in the bar were fair and the food prices were about right for Salzburg.
My only criticism is: the queue to check in and check out was a little long. Everything else was perfect.
