We really enjoyed our stay at the Adlerhof. It's very close to the Main Train Station which was a big plus if you're walking. Proximity to the sights of Salzburg was also excellent, about a 15 minute very pleasant walk to Mirabel Gardens and even closer to the river for a stroll. Very residential feeling neighborhood with a grocery store and a few casual cafes nearby. Breakfast was very pleasant with the standard self-service offerings you'd expect. Our room felt like a dorm which was fine for us- the quad had a small kitchenette and a separate room for our teenager. Highly recommend.

Very basic inn, walking distance from train station and shopping mall. Hotel staff was excellent and I was able to leave my backpack in the morning before check in. Room is pretty old and bed was uncomfortable. Overall, it was ok for a one night stay.

Comfortable and handy to train station

My family of four stayed here for two nights. Very close to train station and shops and restaurants. Quaint , old style rooms but warm and comfortable. Has a lift which was great with 4 heavy bags. We found our room on the street front a bit noisy. Staff were good.

Perfectly good for what we needed. Conveniently located by the train station. Our room was actually an apartment which provided lots of space for three adults. Everything was in walking distance and easy to navigate. Very quote area. Breakfast was very good and very affordable. I would stay here again. I was very happy with these accomodations.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting Salzburg. Great location just about 5 minutes from the train station, where there are food and shopping options. Rooms are a bit old, but bathroom looked like it was recently renovated and pretty nice. Some complaints are that the mattress wasn't great and the pillows were too soft, also the wall sockets are blocked by the bed so you had to move the bed away from the wall to access them.

The property is two blocks away from the Salzburg HBF and there are several restaurants around the area. The hotel and our room were clean. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious and had the basic stuff. The Old Town area is a 15-20 minute walk. It is not as convenient as one would like but it not a bad walk either. There is no A/C but the rooms do have fans. Overall it is a good option.

5 minutes walk to train station. 20 minutes walk to old town. I had a single room on the same level as reception, room 5. It looked nothing like the photos on the booking sites. I dont know what the other rooms are like but I wouldn't stay in room 5 again but I would stay in a room that matches thd photos which is partly why I booked it. Main light wasn't working, shower was not great & the bathroom sink had either hit or warm water. Staff were nice.
