The property was located at a very busy intersection. Road construction limited the access to the property. The rooms were very small and cramped. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western in Salzburg. Check-in was quick and the staff was helpful on several occasions. Their breakfast was perfect for us and there are also good restaurants nearby. Parking in their garage made having a car workable. We will choose this hotel if we come back to Salzburg.

The distance walking to sites in Salzburg was a 2km lovely walk. We enjoyed the walk and were happy with the location. Great place to stay and do tourist activities.

Hotel was a good choice for our purposes. We found the bedding too hard and were given only one pillow each. The hotel is stingy with amenities, for example you only get two instant coffees for the room. After that you pay. The staff was always helpful when we asked questions. As a tourist one should familiarize oneself with the public transit system. It was super easy to go to all the sites once we understood that, and the hotel is well situated to use it.

The staff was fantastic. The hotel was located right on the stops for two bus routes, one to the train station and the other to the historic district, downtown.

The staff here was so friendly and helpful. Hotel had 3 bus stops near by which made getting around the city and surrounding areas very easy. The only thing I didn't like about the property is that there were no privacy doors for the shower.

Hotel was fine and as usual in Best Western Hotels, rooms were clean and adequate. There was a slight smell coming from the toilet particularly later in the evening but all in all facilities were good and breakfast was fantastic.

Great stay. The front reception was helpful, friendly and informative. We arrived very early and were able to store our bags and complete check in. Amazing breakfast, really comfortable beds and a great shower. Would definitely recommend to our friends and family and hope to stay here again one day.

Friendly staffs especially those ladies at the reception. Everything ok, just the bathroom design is a bit weird. There has no main door of the bathroom. The layout is bath on the left while toilet is on the right hand side, middle is the sink, like an U shape When take the shower, has to open the toilet door to block the view from the room, however, the door is not wide enough to block it all, it’s so awkward.

We had a room at the top floor (4th). It has a great view during the day, however the curtains let a lot of sun thru, so you will wake up earlier. The bed is like you are sleeping on the floor. It is super hard and uncomfortable. The location is a bit further away from the city center, so expect a longer walk or take a bus.

Good cheap hotel. Sauna on top floor which is always a bonus after stretching your legs around Salzburg which is a 20 minute walk to centre from hotel door. Good stuff.

Main reception is poorly staffed. You have to look around to get the attention of staff. Not particularly welcoming. Our room key didn’t work at the end of each day needing to be reprogrammed. The hotel itself is close to transport and walkable around Salzburg.

1 star deducted for the warm water issues - we stayed a total of 3 nights, and there was no warm water from the shower on the 2nd and 3rd night. 1 star deducted for the lack of proactiveness to provide heads-up to the warm water issue. We passed the reception when we returned to the hotel on the 2nd night, and the receptionists greeted us. One of them (a guy) later informed me that they were facing water heater issue after I asked about the lack of warm water in our shower. My wife had to shower in cold water (after spending a day in sub-zero temperatures) since she had already shampooed her hair before realising there was no warm water. She had been coughing from that night till now, 4 days after we’ve checked out. 1 star deducted for the receptionist (a lady) on the 3rd night for wilfully refusing to acknowledge the warm water issue until a staff came to our room to verify that there was indeed to warm running water in the shower. 1 star deducted for the lack of amenities (for a 4-star hotel).
