Check in was easy. The staff at reception could be a bit more friendlier to be honest. Day 1. Booking was for 2 adults and 2 children. Room was wide open, only 3 beds, 2 single beds joined together, one sofa bed. Went back to reception to ask for another bed, 30min later we get a foldable frame whose legs gave way on the first night. The matteress were clearly old and flattened. Was easier to lay the mattress on floor as just the though of asking for another bed was a pain. Only 2 towels given and had to again ask for more. Only way to contact reception staff is to go all the way down to them each time you had an issue, no phone in rooms. Kettle in room but no tea or coffee, again had to ask for them. Day 3 : no hot water, seeminlgy hotel boiler broke down. The reception area was fresh and clean. The area around the rooms had clearly aged with stained carpets. Breakfast was good, opened between 0700-1000. Staff were freindly and attentive. Barely any bacon left if you came for 9 each day. Transport was convienent, bus stop right outside the hotel and the use of Guest mobility pass was excellent. Would not go back for sure.

Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. But the carpet in the room had several huge stains. Room service didn't wash the coffee cups, instant coffee wasn't replenished, nor the tissue box refilled.

This hotel is within walking distance (1.5 kms) of the train station, and the centre can be reached by public transportation outside the front door. Although location is not great, we had a wonderful view from our room, looking onto a hillside. The front desk staff (Melissa and Veronika) were wonderful, as were the breakfast staff. Supermarkets in easy reach and a couple of restaurants(Greek and Italian). Rooms and facilities were fine with space to hang clothes. Breakfast was good and we were able to order an omelette and toast - made to order!

Moderno albergo con possibilità di parcheggio sotterraneo. Camera molto grande. Posizione un po' lontana dal centro, comunque raggiungibile in ca. 25 minuti a piedi. La zona, pur periferica, appare sicura, anche tornando a piedi dal centro di Salisburgo dopo cena.

Das Zimmer war furchtbar dreckig. Es lagen Tabletten auf dem Boden. Die Toilette hat nach Urin gestunken. Schreckliche Unterkunft. Niemals wieder!!!

Von den Bildern und vom Namen war es leider für uns nicht das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und geben auch hilfreiche Tipps. Sauber war es auch. Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr üppig. Leider ist es sehr dunkel dort (was auf den Fotos für uns nicht ersichtlich war) und etwas älter und abgenutzt. Dennoch sehr gepflegt. Uns hat der erste Moment beim Betreten des Zimmers sehr überrascht: die Dusche ist direkt neben dem Bett und nur mit Milchglas getrennt - es ist also durchsichtig. So auch die Toilette - nur mit Milchglas versehen und sehr beengt mit der Dusche. Das Bad ist quasi offen im Raum integriert (kein einzelnes Zimmer) und nur durch Scheiben separiert.

On arrival it was hard to find anyone at reception, and when a staff member finally appeared, checking in was bit meehh. When I asked about street parking, she kept repeating that the hotel parking costs €20 per night — even though there were no spaces — and it took a lot of effort to get the simple information that street parking is free until 7 a.m. Despite being local, she kept saying she didn’t know and “I just work here,” which was pretty unhelpful. The room is quite spacious, but the cleanliness is a bit questionable.

The room reeked, somehow the shower drain was connected with a toilet line so whenever someone flushed you could hear it go past the drain cover. Also when I booked the booking included free breakfast. I guess that changed when new management took over.

First of all, the rooms are shockingly small....so much so that there was almost no space on one side of the bed. I tried to get down in the middle of a night and my ankle got bruised by the sharp edge of the bed. Second, the staff were simply rude and unhelpful initially. On one of the evenings, we decided to hang out with our friends in the lounge room and they didn't have all of the lights on. So, when we asked them to turn them on and they said we had to buy something from the bar before they do it! In the last couple of days, their attitudes improved, maybe because of the scathing review I left. But the reality is that we wouldn't have booked this hotel at any rate. Besides extremely compact size of the rooms and terrible coffee, they don't understand the hospitality sector.
