Had an amazing stay in the most quirky B&B in the centre of Staithes. Great nights sleep with a gorgeous breakfast served by the most wonderful ladies that couldn’t be more helpful, warm and kind. We will definitely be returning we was made to feel so welcome.

Lovely stay in Staithes, beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean and nice comfy bed. Hostess Trudie was on hand and very helpful, great breakfast too. Nothing too much trouble.Would highly recommend this place in such a quaint place

A perfect stay.

Pure Yorkshire hospitality. Everything was perfect as well as Covid 19 safe. Please note that access to the rooms could be a problem for guests who have disabilities. A beautiful retreat.

Had a fantastic stay everything you needed, fabulous breakfast that kept you going all day and rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. Stairs are quite steep to rooms but we didnt find this a problem. Trudie was very helpful and all the staff very nice. Staithes is a lovely place and everybody was so friendly. Great walk on the Cleveland Way to Runswick Bay with amazing views. Would definately stay here again. Thank you

Dottie's tea room B&B in Staithes, a delight!

Our stay at Dottie's in Staithes, above the tea room, was sooo lovely. The accommodation's location was superb, we 'lived like a local'. Inside it was pretty, cosy, comfortable and clean. We were able to completely relax and enjoy. We'll happily go back for more as soon as possible. Hostess Trudy was dedicated, kind and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and will see you through 'till tea-time! The scenery and walks were great, we walked off the breakfast from Staithes to Whitby, so had room for Dottie's super scones on our return. We recommend the Cod & Lobster pub for dinner or if all is booked then get your scrumptious take-away pizza and some fudge for pud, across the road from Dottie's.

Quaint fishing village break

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Dotty's B&B. Trudie was a brilliant hostess and nothing was too much trouble. Her breakfasts are awesome and set you up for a day's walking. It was our first time in Staithes and we fell in love with it and will definitely be going back.

You will not be disappointed. We absolutely loved Dottys and would wholeheartedly recommend it for a couple looking to stay in Staithes. Using Glen Vale parking option was a great shout.

Trudi made us feel really welcome from the minute we arrived. The accomodation was clean very comfortable and we enjoyed a wonderful full English breakfast. I would recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

lovely B&B

A unique place and Trudy was extremely helpful & hospitable! Breakfast was excellent (truly great English Breakfast) and the location is great being opposite a welcoming pub called the Royal George & only a few moments stroll to the Cod & Lobster. Trudys sandwiches that we took for the next leg of our walking holiday were fab also.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at Dotty’s, right near the sea front had a sea view from the bedroom window! Had the living room to ourselves so loved it! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here just for one night but would definitely return. What a fabulously unique place great style, comfortable bed and beaut breakfast. Staithes its self is quaint and quirky if you can get a table at the Cod and Lobster the seafood is fresh and delicious. I hope to return and spend more time here to explore.

Trudy and her staff are lovely. The room is everything you could ask for if you love vintage. Hot chocolate in the tea room to die for and Mr Darcy found it very comfortable. He is a very particular bear and his needs were met. 10/10 Bear paw prints 🐻
