I really like how cheap motel 6 is. It’s convenient and easy. I ended up getting a room that had smoke in it, went back to the desk and I had a friendly young man that was very helpful for me to get a new room that didn’t smell. The staff were just so sweet. I do wish the walls were a bit thicker cause you could hear someone watching a movie but it wasn’t too bad. With all said, motel 6 is a perfect place to just have a place to crash at night

The room had a stench, even though it was a non-smoking room this stench just emanated from the area.
I liked that it was close to services available. I was afraid of the other customers that were hanging around so stayed indoors. Good to be able to leave without any problems.
A lot of shady looking people living at motel. Felt unsafe. Our room smelled awful. Strong cigarette smoke. I would take your breath away. We don't smoke.
I hope I can clean my room before 11: 00 a.m. two days, and I will leave the tip on the table. Thank you.

Staff was very friendly, the rooms door didn’t seal fully and you could see outside through the cracks, toilet kept running and you could hear everything outside. But the room was clean and is close to the freeway.
A two stay was not satisfactory. The cleaning staff did not change out the sheets, towels and did not clean room. A call was made to the front office, the person was very rude, he said we had to request the day before for the room to be cleaned. I had to get cleaned towels from the office myself.
First room we were assigned to had never been cleaned. Dirty sheets and linens, Garbage not emptied. Second room they sent us to hadn't had the floors mopped. Big gobs of sticky somethings on the floor. Smoke detector that beeped ALL NIGHT long. Staff didn't have time to fix it.
I couldn’t any one to clean room when I checked in microwave and shower in room dirty fridge had old food in it and in the middle of night the ceiling leaked and flooded out whole room and I had to pack up load car go to front office in my pjs and move to new room instead of them bringing me the new room key and letting me just move stuff to new room. They did say I would get a percentage of money back but we will see.

People were fighting all night and walls are thin. But otherwise decent for price didn’t realize until I got to room there was no refridge or microwave. But manage my did say I should have called about noise but I didn’t want reprocussion from neighbors
This place is old and smells old, walls paper thin, one side woman screaming at her kids alnight to go to sleep other side kept grunting and then up stairs decided to go for a walk around their room at 4am for 15 minutes with what sounded like wearing big boots.
Reception pasted with notes of what you can and can’t do and is very uninviting
Receptionist was very nice.

Toilets stopped up, need light bulbs in every room and the desk clerk is rude!. Not all but the afternoon clerk that works there is very rude. And the other clerk that works the morning shift is helpful but rude as hell as well.. they are very mean and have no reasoning. Doesn’t try to have any understanding. They what they have to say and there’s attitude from that point on

The main problem with this place is that they charged me an extra $35 to extend my stay. Makes me wonder if they are actually in the hospitality business. Not only do they charge for stayovers, but they also charge the same 35 dollar fee if you check-in after 10:30 pm. Other than that this place used to be the nicest Motel 6 in the Salt Lake area, just can't say that with the sur fee.
Would've given them a minus one if I could.
