Booked a trio 2 bed room room, furniture was a bit outdated and marked up with scratches, beds and bathrooms were nice. Pool never had clean pool towels each time we went there. Breakfast was excellent, front desk staff was accommodating with a later checkout time. Overall we felt the room was overpriced compared to other hotels in the area. Nice hotel if you’re going to an RSL soccer game. Very close to restaurants and they have a shuttle.

Staff seemed unhappy, and only one ice machine hidden in a laundry room on the first floor, which would have been nice to know. Otherwise the room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable with a kitchen, sitting area and main bedroom. It was a nice location close to multiple restaurants.

Yes, we only have one ice machine available to our guests and it is quietly located away from public areas. All of our guestrooms are provided a full refrigerator that produces ice for your convenience. I am sorry if we failed to communicate both options to you. Only stayed here a night, but the room was clean & equipped with most things that you could need! Though I will note that I could not fine a toothpaste or brush, they probably sell them downstairs near the lobby. Inclusion of stovetop, pots, pans, and silverware... was a nice as well. Made it quite convenient to cook a simple meal. Overall, I am happy with the value I got for the pricing on these rooms. May visit again.

The water pressure in the shower was low. It was right next to the freeway so it was noisy. The coffee pots and hot water in the lobby were all empty. They didn’t keep it up later in the day the shuttle transportation was excellent. All employees were excellent. The parking lot was a little cramped The continental breakfast was good.

I called down to the front desk for blankets for the pull out couch bed and she said she didn’t have any, at all. The room didn’t come with blankets for the couch bed so we slept with no blankets and u helpful staff.

The staff was excellent, friendly and they went out of their way to help us. The beds were comfy, bed room was dark and quiet despite being near the freeway. The room temperature was easy to control. The pool was clean and warm. You will want to bring some tip money to the complimentary breakfast because the gal that makes the omelets does a fantastic job. My only complaints is that one of the pool gates are fickle in unlocking. They need a sign pointing to the other gate. The cleanliness could use some focus. The room was clean but there were some spots on the walls that could use some TLC. We would stay at this location again, it’s close to everything including Hale theater.

Overall a very good visit. Close to dining options and shopping. Room was clean and pretty quiet. Bed was a little uncomfortable (divot). Toilet paper holder fell of the wall while on our stay and housekeeping never installed it back.

Pros & Cons
I've stayed at this hotel several times, because it's conveniently located to my family and it's reliably clean, with nicely appointed rooms that include a kitchenette, and free breakfast. I also count on wifi access, which has always been good; but this time I was in room 203 and apparently that wing of the hotel has very poor wifi reception. Router problem? Hope they fix it! Also wish recycling was offered. Nevertheless, I recommend it!

Great value for ski/snowboard trip
Was here for a 4 day snowboarding trip to Snowbird. Great value for the money. Breakfast daily was on par for hotel food but still very good. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub was great after a day of riding in powder. Complimentary shuttles to restaurants and snowbird old sandy bus stop (free to ride with Ikon pass). Overall excellent and would stay again.

We love this hotel!
We love this hotel! The employees are very friendly and helpful, rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic.

I felt safe and the hotel was easy access off of the freeway. What I didn’t like was we were tired the first night due to traveling and we ordered salads at the restaurant in the hotel, there was a hair in one of the salads. The next night we had a glass of wine and the red wine was old and tasted more like vinegar, I poured it out! Other than those two things it was great!

This is a very nice hotel, the rooms looks like a mini apartment, close to shopping areas and restaurants.

Excellent as always
We stay at this hotel every year while skiing Snowbird and will continue to do so! We love this hotel, feels like home.

We had great experience of stay.
My husband and I enjoyed our ski trip during we stayed here. The room is very clean and comfortable. The house keeper did the awesome job tidying up. The location is great, we took the shuttle called Cottonwood Connect head to resorts. It was right in front of the front door of the hotel. Not to mentioned the best part of the hotel was it's un-beatable breakfasts. I would recommend 100% Hyatt House Sandy if you plan a ski trip in SLC.
