"This hotel is very convenient for downtown Topeka and is walking distance to the capitol. The free breakfast was good. My room was clean. However, the hotel is not in the best condition and the public areas including the hallways were run down and dirty. This hotel is in need of a major renovation."

"The room was clean but it smelled musty. The floors were sticky. Carpet and tile both. The closet smelled so musty that my clothes smelled like it. The carpet felt damp so I didn’t walk without shoes on after I first took my shoes off. The bed,pillows, blanket and towels were fine. Just the floor and closet"
