"Everything was perfect "

"Great location at the end of Duval Street, but between the outdated grounds and one issue after another from check-in to checkout, the experience simply didn’t justify the price. We stayed four nights and chose this property because the pricing suggested a level of service comparable to resorts we normally stay at like Casa Marina or La Concha. Unfortunately that was not our experience. We extended our stay and had two reservations. We were told ahead of time combining them would not be a problem, but when we arrived we were told we had to check out of one room and check back in the next day. We were also told our luggage would be transferred, which never happened. We ended up out of our room for about five hours and spent over an hour and a half waiting in line to check in again. At checkout we were granted a late checkout until 1:00 PM due to the earlier issues. When we returned at 12:30 to grab our luggage and take a quick shower, our keys no longer worked and we were locked out. A bellman let us in and took our luggage but never gave us a ticket. Later no one could locate our bags and we were even asked to show a picture of our luggage so they could identify it. Restaurant service was poor, the area smelled like spoiled fruit or garbage, and the grounds felt dark and dated. The pool and beach area were overcrowded unless you rented a cabana, and the ice machine near our room was broken the entire sta Staff did communicate by text and management said they would credit "

"The place was quiet and beautiful. Clean feeling but the building was old. Comfortable bed and nice staff. Pools were clean and quiet (adult only) nice background music. Happy hour wine and snacks were perfect. Bathroom was small and needed shelves. If it is middle of summer, small air conditioning unit won’t catch up the nice sun and heat. We walked everywhere and very convenient location. "

"We checked in for one night so we could explore Key West. The location is PERFECT. It is on Duval Street, so there will be some noise from the street, but it didn’t bother us at bedtime. The breakfast was good. The pool was an excellent escape from the hot street. Our room had a balcony that overlooked Duval, which was pretty cool."

"Pool View could see ocean from room through trees. Good property, but elevator was broken. Maid service mediocre, they seemed to do their job with a grudge. Food expensive but mediocre in quality. Fortunately many great restaurants very near by. Walk down the beach to the left about 50 yards and you are at Louies Backyard, one of the best on Key West."

"Fantastic hotel, great location, and super staff !!! Only glitch was the wifi, which didn’t always connect."

"The property is on a busy and noisy street. It is walkable to many of the touristy hot spots."

"The Conch house was a treasure to stay at. We loves the staff, the room, the historical preservation, the story of Sam's family and the guests we met. Best of all, we took Mass across the street on Sunday in open air, walked to the beach and the Marina many times. We'll be back. A very Happy Valentine's indeed. "
