"We stayed for 5 weeks and really enjoyed the area The hotel was a little dated but was very clean , the staff were all great Marsha was helpful in pointing out great restaurants and local establishments Ramona and Veronic and Josephine worked very hard in the bar restaurant area the pool was well taken care of. Our balcony views were of the beautiful water. "

"The room was very spacious and the view directly in front of the ocean was picturesque to say the least. However, we didn’t expect the running water to be hard, sulfuric to be exact. The pool to the swim up bar was in need of cleaning, the hot tub was filthy and not hot whatsoever. We dipped our toes in to test the water and left with a very thick film of grime all over us. Lastly, the septic system on the resort has a hut in the center of it in front of the spa . Brace yourself when you have to walk past a gust of foul wind to get to where you’re going. On the bright side, the staff were genuinely pleasant to interact with, the beach was pristine, the food was pretty good and the cleanliness of the rest of the property met our expectations. We visited the rooftop bar multiple times and got great reception from the staff there. There were two especially pleasant staff by the name of Sheena at Pure Ocean and Lew at Gizmo’s and they elevated the quality of our stay almost immediately. Their impeccable hospitality turned a lackluster trip into a great stay."
