"From the moment we walked in the door we were amazed at how lovely this hotel was. We were greeted by our hosts who were so friendly and helpful and showed us to our room. We had one of the two attic rooms. The room was immaculate, well decorated and so clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom again was really clean and fresh and my husband who rates rooms by their showers was really happy. There was tea and coffee as would be expected but biscuits and a very scrummy chocolate...

"The George hotel in Rye offers a charming stay with a central location and helpful staff. The comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast were definite highlights. Its bar is also great, boasting a fantastic atmosphere. However, our (entry level) room was a little on the small side. Despite the cozy quarters, the hotel provides a very pleasant and enjoyable experience."
