It is disappointing the breakfast area and the bar are closed in the summer.I understand why the bar is closed, since less people stay in the summer, but they could provide a little more then coffee, even just donuts."

"The room was very clean and quite and comfortable bed. The interior was very clean. My door to the courtyard had a broken handle and an exterior entrance had a broken lock. Grass in courtyard and around the exterior of the hotel needed trimming. Very reasonable price."

"Mike and Margaret were so kind and accommodating - their home is located in SUCH a beautiful space, and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast and conversation in the morning. We felt free to come and go, and enjoyed enthusiastic recommendations from Mike, including an exciting "scrabble" up Thundering Brook trail and a glorious swim spot at Kent Pond. "Our room had all the amenities of home-well stocked kitchen, counter and table seats, supply of towels for several days, comfy bed, large closets,hot shower with good pressure, TVs in LR and BR, quick assistance from helpful staff (stuck blinds and recommendations for hiking and shopping). Heated pool was great and we had a thorough tour of the lake from Finn, our pontoon boat captain. Grab and go daily breakfast was perfect and on site restaurant with live entertainment was also nice....
