The owner read me a check in and is a very gracious host of this property. I had an issue with the microwave that I reported, and he immediately came down to help remedy the issue and even had a nice conversation that included him giving me some guidance around the area of state parks and visiting Mount Magazine. Very comfortable room, upgraded nicely and I would stay here again when I am in the area.

Ok for an overnight stay

The hotel was fine for an overnight stay. The room was clean. The bed offered little support. The smoke detector was missing, which did not affect our stay but probably not up to code. The breakfast was not good. There was no coffee and the only food was cereal, two yogurts, and small tasteless muffins. There was only enough milk for our cereal.

I didn’t expect the room to be as nice as it was. The tub faucet did stop running when i turned to shower on. That’s the only bad thing. The floors were awesome, one lamp was missing a light bulb, so I move the bulb from near the tv to the floor lamp that was turned on by the light switch. The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite. i didn’t eat breakfast there, it was basically all carb and I wanted protein. Over all, my stay was good.

I liked how easy it was to talk to the staff. Check in was easy, extending my stay was easy, and finding the property was easy. I liked the cleanliness of the room and the amenities were stellar. I didn't like the upkeep of the building. The faucet of the shower leaked. The door didn't seal, causing outside sound, odor, and humidity to come into the room. The bed was also very squeaky.

The bed wasn't very comfortable. I woke up with cramps in my side each time I turned over. The coffee was simply terrible, both in the lobby and in the room. I'm not a coffee snob but this was literally not even worth drinking. Raisin bran was really the only breakfast offering - they also had some strange off-brand pre-packaged cookies. On the plus side, the shower was nice and hot and the ac/heat worked fine. They provided clean towels on request.Though there was an open spot in the ceiling above the shower. I'll even let the one-choice breakfast go since it was edible. (Although other budget motels provide a nice variety in their continental breakfasts, including other Super 8's). But any place that can't provide a comfortable bed and a decent cup of coffee gets a "poor" rating overall from me. Especially if I pay $74 plus tax per night. These aren't frivolous extras - these are basics. The location in Morrilton was actually quite a bit better.
