Thanks for your stay Anonymous. The room base rate has always been for two people, and would have increased by $30 per person when you entered four people into your booking. This is an industry standard pricing practice, and in fact, there is competitors in Russell who actually charge $35 per extra person, so we consider our $30 charge very reasonable indeed. We have cheaper options if our beautiful waterfront units don't suit your needs any longer, so ahead of making your next booking with us, just get in touch with us and we can put you in the room that suits you best. We don't apologise for changing towels every second day. We are absolutely doing it to save water, as Northland is having yet another dry summer and we need to be mindful about our most precious resource.

Hi Harman, Your room had doors at the back and front, so could have been kept open throughout the day for great airflow. The hair dryer was indeed working when I went to check it after you told me. The power point has a safety button that you just needed to push once to turn the power on, and the lights on it indicated as such. If you had have mentioned this issue before checking out I would have gladly helped out and you could have left with dry hair. As for our value for money, you did book your room on the day of arrival - New Years Day, in peak season Russell. It was probably the last room available in town and this is what you were buying. Next time you book with us, do so earlier and you will pay the best possible price.
