"Very historic old hotel convenient to the Amtrak station, where our fall colors trip took us. Friendly staff and 24 hour coffee/tea station was much appreciated. If you're looking for modern hotel space with all the amenities, this is not it. But it fit our needs very well and we enjoyed our stay."

"There are minimal staff, so it really is a very limited service inn. But for the price that you pay, the very quaint atmosphere, and the gorgeous surroundings, it is a great place at a great value. Plus, there is a nice pub next-door within walking distance that does lots of fun activities at night like karaoke, trivia, and live music."

"The Shaker museum was beautiful and the room was comfortable in clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Two things the property could do to make the stays even better: make it clear that there’s no elevator to rooms. The staff is incredibly helpful bringing things upstairs, but they’re not around 24/7. Second, coffee in the rooms would be *greatly* appreciated. On an early Sunday morning, I had to drive across the bridge to Dunkin’ because nothing else was open. I understand wanting to keep the historic charm of the property, but small keurig machines would go a long way!"
