"Excellent reasonably priced place to stay and walk around Porto. Close to major attractions and many dinning options in the area. Felt very safe and comfortable. The room was quiet, clean and spotless. The front desk staff were very friendly and Henrique gave us many tips to see in the area and where to eat which were helpful. Highly recommend this place. "

"Incredible stay at Maison Cabral. I cannot praise the property manager Susanna enough for her amazing hospitality. My flight to Porto was canceled so we had to drive from Madrid and Susanna checked on our bags (which had flown without us) and arranged for a late check/in. "It is a lovely hotel in Porto with great artistic taste. We’ve stayed in a family suite where we had two rooms, one in the 0 floor with a couch and a refrigerator, and another in the 1st floor with a bed and a bathroom. From the 1st floor, you can access the garden through the terrace. Breakfast is included in your stay and it was fabulous. It is in a 10 minute walking distance from the city centre. "The hotel check in was exemplary. The young fellow who works the night shift (we checked in at 7pm) went out of his way showing us maps and giving restaurant recommendations. He explained the local food, how to order and the differences. We had an issue with the safe and he fixed it straight away. If they could clone him, I would only book in these hotels. He made the trip better. Thank you."

"The four of us, including our two sons who are in their early twenties, stayed for five nights in two rooms. The hotel managed to provide a twin room for the boys which was appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The location was good for us, although it is at the top of a hill so staying there keeps you in shape."
