"I’d like to share feedback regarding my recent experience, as I believe it reflects serious opportunities for improvement in cleanliness, responsiveness, and overall guest care. I have long respected the Hyatt brand, which is why this experience has been especially disappointing. Earlier today, when I opened the blinds/shades in my room, I found a smashed roach left on the window area. As I began packing my belongings to request another room, I also noticed small ants in the room. I brought these concerns to staff and was told twice that someone would be sent to address the issue. I then left the room for approximately six hours, believing that would provide ample time for the matter to be fully resolved. However, upon returning, there was still a smashed roach on the window, and I also found dead ants, including some on my skincare products. I was later told the room had been sprayed, but the visible cleanliness and sanitation concerns had not been properly handled. I requested to be moved to another room, but that request was initially dismissed and I was told someone would come in the morning to clean it. I then stated that I would prefer to have the remainder of my stay refunded so I could leave. At that point, I was offered another room, although I was informed it would be a smaller room. "When we checked in, we discovered we did not get the room we booked on line with Expedia. When we told the front desk, they said they didn’t have to give us that room because we booked through Expedia. Also, we had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get towels. There were crumbs in the pullout sofa. And we were never told that we had to request our room be made up the night before. A very, very disappointing stay. Needless to say, we will never return."

"Room was dirty bathroom sink dripped all night. We had to clean the small kitchen floor. I paid for wireless that I could not get. We wanted food at the restaurant and couldn’t get it the food connection was down. This is the worst experience I have had which is such a shame"

"This was a really great experience until a massive leak through the ceiling caused water to pour into our room non-stop and they were unable to fix it. This was on my WEDDING night as well. It damaged some of my personal items including electronics and I have sent multiple emails and left several messages for the GM and have yet to hear back so unfortunately almost a week later so I will not be staying here again. I know accidents happen and some things are beyond the control of the hotel and can just be bad luck - but the handling of the situation and lack of communication since then to compensate for the damage is just ruining the experience even more."
