"Stayed in the igloo glass cabins, very atmospheric, beautiful surroundings. The fire log cabins around the property and hiking trails are excellent. Sled provided was a lot of fun. Overall staff very friendly, reception and breakfast excellent. However, most amenities ( sauna) are not included, which is disappointing considering how expensive the Aurora cabins are. Lapland activities booked through the resort are almost 2-3 times the price compared to independent providers. Unless you are looking for convenince you will be better off booking external providers. "

"Overall not a bad stay. We stayed 4 nights. The housekeeping could have been better and top up of tea/coffee/milk didnt happen. The family room had a great view of the river and lumberjack bridge. Location is great with lots of shops/cafes/restaurants nearby. Bus to Santa claus village leaves right outside. Lots of options for breakfast. Swimming pool is on the cold side when you first get in but you get used to it, maybe too cold for very small kids."

"It was absolutely fabulous to stay in Santa Claus Village Igloos!!!! They were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bathroom looked brand new. The employees were nothing but helpful and very friendly. It was so cool laying in bed at night looking at the open sky through the glass igloo. Everything at you need to do or see within walking distance. The only way to see Santa Claus Village!! Highly recommend!!!!! "

"It was amazing. Although very far from the city and we had a cloudy few days, the spa, amenities and staff were amazing. Everyone was very accommodating and it was very easy to communicate with staff via Whatsapp or in person. The shuttle service was great, the booked tour with the hotel worked perfectly, restaurants were good and it was a great stay. Highly recommend a trip to Aito in the rovaniemi area. A perfect little escape"
