"Clean, great facilities. Staff are superb from entertainment to cooking to reception. Everything was easy, pools are lovely, beach is clean, we came in May/June and never had an issue finding a sun bed. Food is absolutely super with extremely fresh ingredients and a great variety. "The Mitsis Rinela is a wonderful place for vacation. Although travelling without kids I saw that everyone of the staff was very welcoming of them, which is not usual for a 5-starred hotel. Each bar has a unique flair to it and most of the employees give you a feeling of welcomness into the hotel and country. "The hotel is very well situated on the beach and has two very good restaurants. The highlight for us all were the charming staff and we enjoyed our few days very much. You do get used to planes flying quite low overhead. The hotel is freshly painted and there is a gym and a well appointed spa. "

"Short one night stop over in Heraklion. Hotel was lovely, bed very comfortable and breakfast was very good. The only comment I would make was the bathroom wasn’t completely separate to the bedroom, separate toilet but the shower and wash basin were in the bedroom. Would have preferred a bit more privacy "

"The property is huge with so much to do! There are many different pools to lay at, bars to get drinks from, a spa, convenience shop, different access points to beaches, and water sports. It is also in walking distance to aother nearby beach and the activities desk is more than helpful when it comes to finding needed transportation as well as excursions. The housekeeping was always on top of keeping our room clean. The food is not the best for dinner but breakfast is always a hit and it is close...

"The hotel has the most amazing staff, the food is great and the location is just a great peaceful hideout from the city... Highly recommended. We took the cave suite with private pool in june, it was quiet and nice and nearly no one gets near the suite expect for the cleaning lady! Great for our honey moon"
