"Figured we'd stay in Mayagüez for a night and then head over to some waterfalls in the general area. I don't usually gravitate towards hotel chains, but the island is still on the mend from the storm of '17 and earthquake of '20, and Holiday Inn is doing a pretty good job of presenting well maintained and comfortable properties around the island. Bed was comfortable, room and facilities were in good shape, and it was easy access to grab a bite to eat in town. I'd stay there again."

"The location and views are excellent. The rooms are comfortable. However, upon arrival, the staff was not very friendly. We got there a bit early and had suitcases but the only option for us to hang out at the pool area was to bring our suitcases outside with us. I asked for the WIFI pw at the front desk and was told that there wasn't WIFI available. The next morning, we went to use the pool but it was shut down for maintenance."

"The stay was overall enjoyable, but one issue worth noting is noise. Our room was located next to an event space, and one weekend night there was a loud event with music and heavy bass that could be felt in the room until late at night. It made it difficult to relax and sleep. In my opinion, this room should not be occupied on the nights with events."

"It was not the typical hotel/resort experience but the location, the coziness, the service and the atmosphere was amazing. Very clean room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Internet in the room was good. Is a calm place so if you’re looking for parties, loud music all the time then this is not the place for you. Beach only a few steps away. Beautiful scenery.
