"From checking in to checking out, everything was perfect. The staff,food, beds, entertainment nightly, location was excellent. Perfect appreciated manners and respect from young staff. All staff are a credit to the Doric. With complimentary tram passes it is effortless to see the sights of Blackpool. I can honestly say there wasn’t anything to complain about. "From the moment you see it you know its a dump. As soon as you open the door to reception you smell the musty damp smell. Its huge, needs knocking down & start again. Or better still turn it into a car park. Mould everywhere just needs a complete renovation. To think we paid money to stay there is scandalous. "

"Definitely dangerous for anyone with poor mobility or elderly - over 60 steps from first floor bedroom to pool and spa ! Wife tripped going down garden to lake as railings removed at moment - should be completely boarded off until construction finished . Poor contractors tipping waste into woods opposite front door across road ."

"We stayed here just as a stop over and it was a very small and low double bed in a huge room. It wasnt the cleanest so I was glad I had slippers with me. Shower ceiling was too low for a 6'2 person so my partner had to crouch. The main parts of the hotel looked nice on arrival, but we didnt make use of it. Nice and quiet despite the location."
