"We were delighted with our stay at The Ship Inn, right from the warm welcome to someone checking whether we'd left something behind. The building has lovely windows, with light and views coming in from all angles. The food was delicious, and we were particularly pleased to have a small bottle of real milk in our room. "

"The George hotel in Rye offers a charming stay with a central location and helpful staff. The comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast were definite highlights. Its bar is also great, boasting a fantastic atmosphere. However, our (entry level) room was a little on the small side. Despite the cozy quarters, the hotel provides a very pleasant and enjoyable experience."

"This is a great hotel right in the historic center close to shops and very good restaurants. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was solid. We had some difficulty with the parking app and had to park on the street. Maybe because we have a US phone number the app wouldn’t load. It would be a lot easier if there was another parking system. But other than that, this is a great place to stay. "
