"Room was fine. Spacious with two queen beds. Clean and tidy. Quiet location with plenty of free parking available. Air-conditioning was great. Microwave and fridge/freezer very useful although turntable in the micro was a bit temperamental. Unfortunately coffee machine only produced a dribble of coffee having set up the pod and water. This was reported to reception but for us not a problem as we had own coffee granules. Outdoor pool was not open despite 30°C temperature. Not sure if under repair or other reason. Convenient location for access to Golden Skywalk which is a high adrenalin activity centre - zip line, suspension bridges, giant free fall swing into the gorge etc."

"Hotel staff and lodging are very good. Parking is somewhat limited and tight. Room had a jacuzzi that did not have very hot water and the bubbles made the water even colder. "

Glacier Mountaineer Lodge

"Very cute property. Hard to reach the owners as they rarely replied (through Expedia). For four days in a row there was a large lift with an employee changing bulbs all over the property as well as window cleaners, so privacy on our deck was out of the question. Bed was comfy. Getting in with our codes was easy. View was amazing. Not sure why the microwave and coffee maker were unplugged and we had to nearly remove the microwave from the counter to plug it back in. We did not have enough coffee to last our five day stay."

"Lodge and Lantern was one of the most amazing hotel we have stayed at during our Banff trip. The view was absolutely breathtaking with a flowing river and the mountains. The amenities were amazing, with complimentary snacks, water and medication in case you forgot to pack it such as Tylenol etc. would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay!"

"This place was incredible. The decorations and prints were so tasteful and fit the vibe of a mountain lodge perfectly. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of hot and cold choices. Everyone was so very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone."
Moberly Lodge

"The lodge is lovely and the staff were great but unfortunately there was a storm that caused a power outage and apparently a small fire up the road. The staff did everything they could including starting generators for the toilet but there was water restrictions implemented by BC Hydro. Fortunately the fire was extinguished quickly but we felt very informed by staff. Bad timing on our part and no fault of the lodge - just not the experience we thought we were going to have. The lodge owners kindly refunded a portion of the fee we paid, so that was nice."
