"The room was not very clean, and we were disappointed with the size and quality for the price. The pullout couch was not functional, but the actual couch was grungy so we decided it wasn’t an option either. The fridge was not plugged in when we arrived, and when we did turn it on, it did not work well enough for our food to keep. We were disappointed with this stay, I would advise spending the extra money and going elsewhere."

"You have to pay $15 CAD extra for parking. There is only one ice machine - located in the main lobby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was adequate. Cereals, oatmeal, breads for toasting, muffins.and donuts, scrambled and peeled boiled eggs, sausages, hash browns, baked beans and pancakes. Coffee and tea. Choice of yogurts and fruit juices. Oranges were the only fruit on offer."

"The staff here are wonderful and always helpful. The property itself is older, so while they are working on updating and maintaining, a lot of it is dated or needing minor repair. For example, there used to be a swimming pool but the previous owner filled it with dirt. The room we were in has a great view of the river and a patio that opens right in front of the dock, which was lovely. "Concierge was very helpful and upgraded our stay to a separate unit down by the water with a terrific view. I was unable to do the stairs and there are no main floor rooms on the first floor. There is also no elevator. Giving us a beautiful room on the grounds behind the hotel right by the water was a just what we needed.
