"We stayed on a beachfront room, but unfortunately, it was situated right in front of the bar. So early in the morning, you could hear the staff talking loudly and laughing. I think that in this type of properties, the staff should more quiet, and let the guests have a more quiet vacation. The same happened while having breakfast, the staff communicates with each other by talking loud at a distance, which should not be the case. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice, very clean, very well...

"The Grand Roatan defintely had the feel of a 5-star resort, but what impressed me the most was the staff. The front desk reached out multiple times throughout my stay to see that my needs were met, and everyone I met remembered my name after our first encounter which was impressive. Marine life is abundant as soon as you walk into the ocean. We paid for a night snorkel on the other side of the island, but honestly, everything you'd want to see is right in front of the property. "There is no walking access to the beach or coast. This is not mentioned on Expedia the hotel website or anywhere. Only via bus then boat during specific scheduled times. The jacuzzis advertised are not accessible without additional purchase or payment at the spa. Again this was not visible on any part of the reservation. There is no walking access to any restaurant options off property, this should be noted for travelers who did not opt for a rental car like us. Our food options were limited to...
