"The hotel was older but super clean. We had 2 queen beds, and stayed for 2 nights. The furniture was a bit older abd scratched up. Room had TV, murciwave and a small coffe machine. The room was carpeted and low ceiling, so it felt small. The bathroom had a low tub, the bed was firm and the pillows were pretty good too. It was super clean and although we were on the first floor, it was quiet at night. I had minimal interactions with the staff at check in and at breakfast they were helpful. Breakfast was ok. Taters, sausages, egg bites and yogurt bagels toast, enough options even for my picky eaters. Would I stay here again? I probably would, price was decent and place was close to Conestogga Mall and other stores, access to hwy and main strip King St to many restaurant options."

"Beautiful gardens sound proof the rooms from any possible traffic noise. The friendly owners/people in the office were very helpful with a map and locations for downtown parking, etc. The bedroom and new bathroom were decent sizes and extremely clean. There were room amenities such as table and chairs, frig, Keurig machine, ironing board and iron were conveniently placed. Great place to stay!"

"It was exquisitely redone to be completely clean and sharp, but still had older (but cared-for!) floors that retained the charm of the age of the building. We arrived on the night the restaurant opened, May 2026, and it looked elegant and delicious (though we already had dinner plans elsewhere, unfortunately). The beds were comfortable, the room was bright and fresh but darkened well, and everything so clean! Our coffee maker didn't work, but we let the staff know and they replaced it. The reading nook and book library area near the stairs was beautiful!!"
