"Staff very friendly and helpful. Double bed very comfy, single bed far too soft for an adult, fine for a small child.
Rooms would benefit from a deep clean. The building is looking tired (visible bubbling on the walls, discoloured plug holes, tatty bed bases) and needs refreshing.
For a spa day I would be disappointed, for a base to explore the area it was fine. The pool was a key factor in choosing this hotel."

"Perfect location for girls trip to Chester, good size space, on road parking, less than £5 under into town and 10 min walk to lovely local eateries around Hoole for breakfast, single mattresses not the best but absolutely fine for one night thanks so much x"
"The mattress was old and uncomfortable with no mattress protector on the bed aslo the pillows were old and stained.
The two windows had different curtains and very thin which let the street lights shine in all night."
