"Beautiful hotel, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely and well equipped, highly recommend. We used the spa which was great and also had afternoon tea which was delicious. Valet parking was an excellent service with very friendly and helpful staff."

"The hotel is very central. We have a blue badge so had a reserved parking space, parking is not that easy otherwise. Checking in was easy but it took a while as there was only one member of staff. Our bedroom was very well equipped. The room was hot but there was a fan for our use. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The only downs were the wifi connection was very weak and the shower wasn't strong. Minor problems. I am very happy to recommend the hotel."

"Arrived early and got our rooms allocated right away. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfasts with hot plates and piping hot food. Nothing too much trouble for all the staff. Would definitely recommend and will stay here next time we visit York. Hotel is in great central location."
