Staff was friendly and prepared a breakfast to go because I had to check-out before breakfast starts. Hotel is at a great location within the old town.
There are a few bars around the area and we can hear loud music and talking which made it hard to sleep.
The location was perfect for seeing the sights in old town and was close to public transportation access. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was small and simple - nothing fancy for sure, but very clean and well kept. The breakfast was fantastic! Location is right in the old town of Riga - walking distance from many tourist attractions.
Friendly and helpful staff, ok breakfast, great location I old town. I will be back again next time when l in Riga again. Thank you Domus for a nice stay. ❤️❤️❤️

Good basic hotel in very good location.
A good basic hotel. The rooms were rather tired and plain, but clean, and my twin room was large. Very good location on edge of Riga Old Town, and for walking around all Riga. Good location for 22 bus to/from from the airport...the bus stop was close. Quite noisy as was near some popular bars, which is why I presume the hotel left ear plugs in the room. Breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel as a good budget option.
Hotel is right in the middle of Old Town. A lot of pubs and restaurants around. Because of this the place is noisy till 11pm or so. There was no AC, no safe in the room. Good breakfast though.
We stayed with our 14 year old and 11 year old for one night (a Tuesday). Location right in old town was excellent, check in straight forward. Great value, we actually got two separate rooms connected with a single door so there was a shared toilet. Breakfast included which was a bonus for the price, basic selection but perfectly fine for what we needed. Oddly earplugs were provided in the rooms so we were wary of noise in the evening as my husband is an extremely light sleeper but it was really quiet! No safe or fridge in room but perfect for a short stop if you are travelling through the Baltic area, we only booked through Expedia that morning and it was exactly what we required and I would say exceeded our expectations given two separate rooms and location.
Extremely sentraly placed in Rigas Old town. Christmas market was just around the corner and a lot of restaurants withinn 100 meters. The room was bigger than i had expected. We had the cheapest room (54) where we had to go out in the smal 2x2m walkway we chared with room 55 to enter our bathroom. Room 55 had their own bathroom. Breakfast was OK, not Hilton standard but for what we payed and what we expected it was good. I hope to go to Riga again with some friends in November and hope to stay there again. The only negative is the noice from the modern bed, strange.

Overall a good experience.
It was stuffy in the room, but the windows only opened a tiny bit. It helped a little, but the bar across the street was very noisy past 1 am, so it was hard to sleep. The rooms were very basic, but they met our needs and were appropriate for the price we paid. Breakfast wasn't fancy, but it too met our needs. Plus except for the noise, the location is excellent. The registration desk person who checked us in was great - really friendly. And we so appreciate that everyone spoke English! Thank you! We would stay there again, even with the noisy bar.
The name of the hotel displayed outside is 'Viesnica Domus Hotel' instead of 'Rija Domus Hotel' as advertised. The hotel is in the middle of all the top attractions of the city and, as such, all types of shops and restaurants can be found in its close vicinity. The room was clean and adequately furnished but the shower area in the en-suite bathroom is too small with slow water flow and the soap dispenser can be a hazard at the time of taking shower. The buffet breakfast was awesome with many unconventional options. The staffs at the reception were polite and helpful. Overall the hotel is one of the best options to stay in Riga for an easily affordable price.

Cheap Riga hotel with perfect location
First things first: the location is pretty perfect! Right in the heart of Riga Old Town, next to roads where taxis can enter.
I booked a single room to kill time and rest before a late night flight from Riga. Easy booking and check-in. The reception was friendly but nothing extraordinary - usual Latvian style.
The "single" room had two single beds and a bathroom. Everything was clean upon arrival. Towels and sheets were clean. Overall, for the price 39€ the room had it all. The room's tv is a small CRT box with a horrendous static sound, so don't expect much entertainment-wise.
If you are travelling on a budget but want to stay in the city centre, the Rija Domus is an excellent option. I needed a rest after a stag party before our late night flight departed, and Rija was perfect for freshening up.
CONS: Note: my friend booked another room, and it did not have its own bathroom. It had a shared bathroom /shower with at least 2 rooms. So be careful with that if privacy is your thing.
CON 2: I could hear my neighbour very clearly. The walls are thin and do not block much.
So if you are in Riga with 18 mates but can't keep up with the drinking on day 3, I recommend Rija as a safe haven.

Good breakfast, really appreciated. Overall, good price/quality ratio. Could come again with friends but would choose a bit better hotel if travel with family.
