"Although this location is very close to the cruise docks and train station, I would not recommend staying at this location The rooms very dirty and the hall light entering the doorway was burnt out and when talked to the front desk he just shrugged it off. "The setting of this hotel is stunning, and we had a balcony overlooking the Rhine. Quiet, elegant and relaxing! Currently there is extensive work on the adjoining Castle Rheinfels, but this was not disruptive to the hotel. Lovely breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant with fabulous views of the Rhine. Front desk staff is welcoming and helpful. "
