Marama Vineyard is located in Hope, a neighborhood in Richmond, and is in a rural area. World of Wearable Art and Collectable Cars and Nelson Provincial Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Fossil Ridge Winery and McCashin's Brewery. Pic's Peanut Butter World and Natureland Zoo are also worth visiting.
Such a wonderful location over looking the vineyards. The studio was a lovely size, nice and spacious. Nice to enjoy a wander through the vines and both Anna and Brett were very welcoming.
A lovely quiet location and the breakfasts were gorgeous! Had a wonderful stay and would definately recommend and we do plan to be back!
The host, Anna, was very attentive and accommodating. The place is sparkling clean, very peaceful and charming. Breakfasts were delicious, especially homemade yogurt and croissants. Regret that we stayed only two nights here.
Lage: Im Grünen, ruhig, Terrasse mit Sonnenuntergang
Zimmer: Größe ca. 35m² modern eingerichtet, Küche (ohne Herd), Terrasse, Bad mit Dusche
Bett: Schönes King-Size nicht zu weich
Technik: WLAN unproblematisch, großer TV
Besonders positiv: Sehr ordentlich und sauber, Frühstück, Wäscheservice
Negativ: Viele Fliegen im Zimmer (Fliegengitter wären hier sinnvoll), Kochplatten fehlen
Stayed for two nights in this romantic vineyard setting. Sauvigon Blanc suite was spacious with comfy king bed and lounge area opening up to a terrace. Anna the owner was really chatty and offered great advice on local dining options (must try Boat Shed Cafe!). While this is a wee drive to Neslon - its worth coming back to the vines for a glass of wine at the end of the day. Highly recommend.
Very hospitable and personable hosts. Comfortable and spacious room. Out in the country and very quiet but easily accessible from SR6. Great continental breakfast choices and quality.
Wonderful stay - very accommodating as we were rushing around helping out with a wedding.
We even left some items behind that they found and shipped back to us!
lovely setting, relaxing room. GREAT shower! and loved the breakfasts and we even had the dog join us on the porch for while we ate breakfast! very relaxing.
shame we ran out of time to do the wine tasting - but will definitely be back in winter to try out the hot tub :)
