The hotel itself is basic but clean. Amazing views of the sea. Great location opposite the beach. Communication for check in was poor, as nobody there for arrival, wasn't briefed about breakfast and it being in the cafe at the end of the street. WiFi charge was 10 euros but said 7 in the rooms. The stay was made great due to the views and location.

Dont expect...

Amalia has left all management to Hotels.com (may 2025). This gives complicated communication and unnecessary worries regarding booking. "Rooms upon availability" is not satisfactory when planning a vacation. Guests booking for a week, or more than a few days have low priority and will get the rooms in the back. Not possible to book a particular room. Amalia has no luggage room, reception desk, only partly manned, so you may wander about in the city with your luggage after or prior to your flight,
