"Our stay was good. The hotel was well maintained. Every staff member went out of their way to be helpful. We enjoyed our meal at Oceano. My only issue is that when I booked on Hotel.com my understanding was all the fees were included in the price. When I checked in I was told there were additional resort fees which came to over $50. I'm not sure if this was my misunderstanding but it did come as a surprise."

"Due to the Hawk fire, we (also Expedia whom we booked thru tried to contact them on our behalf) called early morning on check in day to find out if we, under the circumstances, were able to cancel without penalty. No response and we decided to go despite the fire was zero contained. We finally got a call back after we have already checked in around 8 pm. Why bother responding???"

"This property is near the airport, just off the freeway but the property is quieter than you would expect. There are restaurants within walking distance,. Costco and the Costco gas station are adjacent, and an REI store is close."
