We really enjoyed our family stay at Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge in Truckee. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. A special thank you to Mr. Leif for his thoughtful recommendations and helpful guidance, which made planning our time in the area much easier. We truly appreciated his kindness and hospitality and had a wonderful stay!

The property was beautiful. I want to return. A perfect time of year to visit if you’re not a skier. The only ding I can give the property is the television didn’t work in the main living area. Sharing a movie didn’t work out for that reason. I did go to the front desk and was told they would send someone immediately to figure it out. No one came. If you have to ask twice…well, why? Having to watch from the bedroom is not the same sitting on a bed. Not good on the back. Other than that everything was amazing. Very relaxing and peaceful.

The unit we were in had a shower door that wasn’t properly installed (maintenance came and fixed it) our fireplace in the living room didn’t work (maintenance came and repaired it) there was visible dust on all the ceiling fans (housekeeping addressed it) the drawers in the kitchen and bedrooms opened and stayed opened for no reason and neither maintenance nor housekeeping could fix that. And there was pressure to attend a sales pitch even though we weren’t candidates for buying a timeshare. The hot tub/jacuzzi pools were overly chlorinated making your skin burn and requiring a shower afterwards. Otherwise beautiful mountains!

It was off-season, but we enjoyed it. Celebrated my daughter’s birthday and went swimming barbecued cooked a lot. Barbecue propane tank were empty, but staff was able to help get it going.

The room was sparkling clean, incredibly spacious, and perfectly designed. Its close proximity to the gondola and the village made it easy to enjoy everything—there was so much to do just a short walk away.

The property was excellent. We stayed in a beautiful and very well maintained suite. Location was a short walk from the center of Northstar village. Also Highland ski gondola was about a 5 minute walk away, even with ski boots on, it gave us fairly easy access to the slopes and the Ritz Carlton restaurant.

Very nice stay. The rooms might be a little bit dated but everything is very high quality. Check out at 10 might be rough but they were kind enough to let us use the amenities at the club. All in one a very good experience.

We had such a great stay at the Hyatt. We had 3 families going and the staff made sure our three rooms were as close as possible. The rooms were all well stocked with great quality kitchen cookware. Bring your own seasonings though! We loved walking to the village and highlands gondola for skiing. The ski valet was also so amazing & convenient, while underground parking is great when there's snow. Highly recommend for families who value being close to the slopes!
